Sessions to testify Tuesday. I'm bringing my own popcorn.

I wonder if CNN knows they are lumped into that pot of "peddling false stories"?

"We will allow him to do his job. It is unfortunate that anonymous sources whose credibility will never face public scrutiny are continuously trying to hinder that process by peddling false stories to the mainstream media. The facts haven't changed; The then-senator did not have any private or side conversations with any Russian officials at the Mayflower Hotel."

It's kinda funny. The only identified leak so far is that Reality girl and her info was deemed legit. Yet, she is crazy as a bedbug and the left for the most part double timed their retreat from supporting her after details started emerging on how ****ed in the head she truly is.

I'm curious how the American people would react if some of these "anonymous sources" were publicly unveiled to see how truly "down the food chain" they are and got their credibility questioned. Or even had the information they released scrutinized for context and accuracy.

Sessions is trying to avoid testifying Tuesday by instead sending his deputy to testify. Senate Judiciary and Appropriations are pissed and are thinking of issuing a subpoena to Sessions.

Now tell the rest of the story...

In light of reports regarding Mr. Corney's recent testimony before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, it is important that I have an opportunity to address these matters in the appropriate forum. The Senate Intelligence Committee is the most appropriate forum for such matters, as it has been conducting an investigation and has access to relevant, classified information. Therefore, I am pleased to accept the invitation to appear before members of that committee on June 13th.

Accordingly, Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein, who has operational and budget responsibilities for the Department, will appear before the Senate and House Appropriations Subcommittees on Tuesday.

Imagine that, context behind your outrage.

And after this one dies on the vine, what will you cling onto next? I mean you have to have something to keep your impeachment nonsense going right?

I don't foresee a shortage of available vines. As far as impeachment; it's a possibility, but I've said all along I think the greater probability is Trump resigning.

I love to quantify things so here are my numbers:

Probability Trump does not finish his term - 85%

Probability Trump resigns "voluntarily" - 60% (he will claim health issues)

Probability he is forced out - 25%

What's the latest here? Now that the NYT and WAPO have again been proven to be FOS, there's been a lull in anonymously sourced articles about MUH Russia

Senate Judiciary is saying otherwise.

Oh, you mean this?

http://thehill.com/homenews/senate/337291-feinstein-sessions-should-come-before-judiciary-committee

California Sen. Dianne Feinstein wants the Senate Judiciary Committee to question Attorney General Jeff Sessions to start working toward answering questions about President Trump's conversations with James Comey and whether they constitute obstruction of justice.

The Democrat said Sunday on CNN that the Senate Intelligence Committee, which Sessions said he'd speak in front of on Tuesday, isn't made up of lawyers like the judiciary committee. In order to answer if Trump obstructed justice when he asked Comey to stop investigating former national security adviser Mike Flynn or "lift the cloud" of the Russia investigation, Feinstein said the judiciary committee must be the place to go.

When asked if Sessions will testify on Tuesday and whether it will be in public or closed session, Feinstein said, "Don't know whether it will happen, don't know whether it's going to be public."

"I believe that the judiciary committee has the oversight responsibility for the Justice Department and therefore it is very fitting for the attorney general to appear there," said Feinstein, who is a member of both the Senate Intelligence Committee and the Senate Judiciary Committee.

You mean they haven't even asked him formally to appear before the Judiciary Committee?

Shocking that you are outraged over something that hasn't happened, Carlos. Utterly flabbergasted.

Probability Luther has a nervous breakdown when Trump wins reelection in 2020?

∞

The sequence of events that would have to precede a Trump reelection would certainly be enough to cause me to have a nervous breakdown. I don't see there being a 1 in 1000 chance of that happening. But then again, this time last year, I wouldn't have given Trump a 1 in 10,000 chance of being elected president. The mere idea was hysterically unfathomable. So there's your proof - occasionally my read on the American public is off.

Mine generally isn't . You need to get out more, and talk to regular folks. I actually predicted Trump's victory on this forum. I underestimated the final margin of his electoral college victory though. I didn't see him carrying Pennsylvania because I believed the Media. Stupid me.

And you know something, Carlos? You tend to not ever post links providing background or "proof" of your outrage. I know why you don't. Because it makes you look like an idiot when someone can actually dissect what was said. But there are a bunch of mouthbreathers (you included) on here that won't ever question anything so long as it has an anti-Trump message.

Welcome to your eternity in ignorance. I hope it's as blissful as it sounds.

Mine generally isn't either. I said occasionally. All of the "regular" folks I associate with, most of whom are republicans, couldn't envision Trump either.

With Trump there will always be straws. So yeah I guess so.

Of course there will be straws. More "scandals" will be made up by someone.

"Next up on the news. Donald Trump doesn't like Neapolitan ice cream! Dairy lobbyists demand Senate hearings and Maxine Waters promises impeachment articles."

I thought it would go more like this:

News flash: Trump eats $h!t sandwich. GV argues it's not true because Trump doesn't like bread.
