I frequently criticized Obama here. It probably seems like I defended him way out of proportion to that, but that's only because there were so many idiotic things posted here about him on a pretty much daily basis that I frequently felt compelled to point out the idiocy coming from so many of you.

Kinda like i still have to do now.

Trump met his hero today. I guarantee you he said little or nothing to Putin about Russian hacking. Trump probably had a boner meeting the dictator he not only admires but who plays a role in getting dirty Russian money into Trump properties. One mobster meeting another.

Trump opened the session by "raising the concerns of the American people regarding Russian interference in the 2016 election," US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said in an off-camera briefing after the meeting. Russia asked for "proof and evidence" it was involved, which the US did not produce in the meeting.
"They had a very robust and lengthy exchange on the subject," Tillerson said. "The President pressed President Putin on more than one occasion regarding Russian involvement. President Putin denied such involvement, as I think he has in the past."

Well, its a question of perception and spin.

I can certainly see the Russians getting the impression that Trump accepted their denial. I can certainly see Tillerson emphasizing simply that it was brought up.

We will never know. But in the end it does not matter, even if Trump wants to go along with their denial. I see no reason not to accept the judgment of every intelligence agency and official to speak on the matter, not to mention every Republican who has seen the evidence.

Tillerson is the one telling the story. Are you suggesting Tillerson is a liar?

Also, it's ironic that they people losing their minds about Trump saying nice things about Russia over the last couple years and foaming at the mouth about how dangerous and devious they are (Russia) are ready to believe what Russia says over what this administration says. What a world, what a world.
