I, by no means like Trump, but what I have heard is that his son met with a Russian lawyer with supposed connections to Putin who might have dirt on Hillary. What I am missing is "illegally obtained information." I also missed where he was meeting with someone that was illegally influencing the election. I think the optics are horrible, but I am not sure I see something impeachment worthy.

Also, people with foreign investments have influenced elections for decades. And it's legal. It is an issue that needs to be addressed, but it ain't something that Trump started. Perhaps I am wrong, but I don't see this as an impeachment issue, but yet another instance of poor decision making by Trump and those around him.

I'm still awaiting an answer on what it's called when a presidential candidate team meets with Ukrainian officials to get 'dirt' on the opposing candidate? Any democrats care to weigh in?

The denial here is absolutely stunning.

These emails show that the Russian government supported Trump and wanted to help him win.

They got in touch with the lawyer and said they had some good dirt on Clinton (what, we do not know yet).

Donny Jr. was happy to meet with her and was very excited to get the info.

He lied several days ago when he said it was about adoption.

He lied again two days ago when he said Manafort and Kush did not know the reason for the meeting.

He lied again when he claimed he did not know who they were meeting with.

Trump lied repeatedly when he claimed there were no ties between his campaign and the Russians.

Its just blatant collusion. This is probably what Comey and the Senators have been talking about for so long, and it is now all coming out. A Russian government lawyer came to help the Trump campaign beat Hillary.

Trump must be forced out now, and by the Republicans. Just get it over with. Its just going to get worse form here on, not better. Trump's presidency is now completely illegitimate. He has no power at all. Nothing he wants to get done will ever pass. Zero authority. All he is now is a huge weight dragging the GOP and the country down with him.

A bunch of us tried to warn you, but you stuck your heads in the sand, and bought into the fake news claims of Trump. Cut your losses and admit we were right all along. Cut your losses and admit that Comey did the right thing and that Trump fired him because this stuff was going to come out.

A meeting. At Trump Tower, with Trump upstairs, between the son, the son in law, Manfort, and a Russian government lawyer, to undermine Clinton.

Case closed, its over. Trump is DONE.

In other words VP Pence was unaware of the actions of members and associates of the Trump campaign and is working hard to prepare himself to become the 46th President of the United States.

Let's all remember this whole thing about Trump Jr. meeting Russians for info on Clinton began when it was discovered that Kushner lied on this security clearance application about meeting with Russians who were under surveillance.

It is tempting, I must confess. Ordinarily I would decline because I would think that the Republicans would prefer to avoid having another of their clan impeached. That they would therefore force him out short of that.

But Trump might not go quietly into that good night. He has shown a remarkable penchant for refusing to abide by what the party wants done, and if there are rumblings about impeaching him from within the party, you know he is going to go into full on attack mode on whoever dares question him.

So in the end they may well have to impeach him. They clearly should. I guess in the end I just don't have confidence that they will have the cajones to do the right thing for the country, and they may try to find a way for Trump to ride this out until the next campaign season where he can't do any more harm.

Why didn't you go all impeachment when Obama and Hillary were colluding with the Iranians and the Russians? What they did was far worse than having a meeting on US soil with a Russian lawyer. If true, at least they were trying to get information from the enemy rather than give it to the enemy.

I see it as a PR nightmare, but I don't see any conspiracy to collude with a foreign government. I see someone offering dirt on HC. I don't see any knowledge of it being illegally gotten dirt. Maybe more will come out, but right now I am not seeing it.
