TrumPutinGate

A whistleblower provided a very damaging email showing that the Democrats were plotting to ‘manufacture false evidence of the Russian security services’ involvement in cyber attacks during the U.S. presidential elections 2016′.

“We all agree there is a need to provide technical details on Russian hacking. (Redacted) urges you and (redacted) to bring up again the issue with (redacted). It’s quite important, especially as we approach the hearings.

If there are no technical details we have to find some by all means. I am sure his guys can do it.”

Cyber Berkut stated that they redacted the names in order not to expose their sources:

If this proves true, it's time all aspects of the Clinton Fund are shutdown.

Arrests for treason and collusion with the most dangerous foreign power America has must, must, must happen. Treason is ..

ah, Im not near as good at diatribes like this issue needs as volfprof.

He should take over berating the Clintons and their attempt to influence the election with the Russians.

Below you can see the financing scheme of H. Clinton's election campaign using IMF's loans that were intended for Ukraine.

If forced to answer yes or no to a question that should not be answered with a simple yes or no.....I would say no.

You see, some leaders have the wisdom and judgement to use this power appropriately and some do not. So if it has to be one or the other, then it should be a no; the possible negative consequences are to great....as we are witnessing.

It's the right answer because trust is important; moreso in certain occupations. Of which, news media is one.

So, back to the original Q...should CNN be "attacked" for what their news producer has disclosed?

Would you be comfortable with him bringing testimony against you in court?

I don't think I would be comfortable with anyone bringing testimony against me in court. Again, I would access this individual as preferable to some but not to some others.

I don't know that "attacked" would be the right word, but I think CNN and all news sources should be held accountable. If it's an honest mistake; admit it and apologize. If it's inappropriate procedure; admit it and make procedural corrections. If it's inappropriate objectives and priorities; admit it and re prioritize.

Disclaimer: I'm not sure what the news producer disclosed nor of the context and circumstances of that disclosure.

Reasonable. I used attacked because you used it. I don't watch news so I'm going by what I see on social media.

What about CNN threatening the kid who created/posted the meme they didn't like?

Not familiar with the story. (I do watch and read CNN btw) If they threatened a kid, then on the surface at least, it seems like an inappropriate response. I'm just a little suspicious that there must be more to the story. If not, shame on CNN. They should publicly apologize and do better.

I'm a little skeptical of your version of the story.

I don't see how one could claim it was all made up in the light of the last few days and Donnie Jr's string of lies and misstatements (on fox none-the-less). It's ridiculous to claim there is nothing there. To the extent CNN exaggerated or mislead....shame on them, they need to leave that type of crap to Fox and other right wing outlets.

You didn't hear about CNN doxxing the kid that made the Trump/CNN wrestling gif?

There's not really much to the story. Person made a funny gif. Somehow Trump saw it (I doubt Trump surfs reddit), and posted it on his twitter. CNN responded by tracking down the gif creator and threatening to release his personal info. Was a really popular story about a week ago or so.

It was the person who made the gif of Trump body slamming them or something. There is debate over the age of the person, but there's no debate over CNN blackmailing him

If you're building the case that it's not objectively wrong for Obama to do it, yet it's objectively wrong for Trump to do it, you'll need to put in more work than that. Otherwise, you merely look like a hypocritical Obama worshiper that just dislikes Trump.

Usually people use quotations to indicate something that was actually said.

Thanks for the reminder of why one should never engage with you in any type of debate. I'm not sure why I needed the reminder.

I need to go tend to my severe burns and this excruciating pain.

Now, now, Luther. Don't you think it a bit disingenuous to act like I'm misquoting you and taking you out of context when I actually, literally quoted you twice, and it was that quote that you fled from in pursuit of "plausible deniability"?

So, who's being truthful here?

You really have the audacity to try to play the victim card? Tisk, tisk.

Your choice of and use of nicknames alone is enough to convince me that conversation with you would be pointless.

Reference my law enforcement analogy. It may help you process through my actual position.

This should be a pinned post for posterity.

A self-proclaimed "patriot" just agreed that the American media is more a danger to the West than Russia.

I didn't realize the media had 5,000 nukes, was waging war in Ukraine, destabilizing governments, and killing people it disagreed with.

There are not many things in life you can count on, but you can always count on Hero of the Russian Federation, Hog88, the number 88 of course taking on more significance the more we learn about him.

Russia will never destabilize or destroy this country. Our press is trying.

Reference my law enforcement analogy. It may help you process through my actual position.

I processed it. I'm asking for further clarification, as opposed to a bunch of questions that kicked the can down the relativity road.

You'll need to establish what standard of judgment makes it objectively OK for Obama to do what is objectively wrong for Trump to do.

Please provide that standard, other than we need to trust Your and Obama's intellect and judge trump as too dumb to do it

Because those aren't objective standards. That's just your opinion masquerading as... well... something. But it's not objective standards.

You've accused others of a lack of respect for "truth", and an inability to deal with truth in a rational way. If that's the game you want to play, it's up to you to establish your truth as something besides your opinions, preferences, and desires.

So... Go, luther. You're the harbinger of truth. Now's your opportunity to seize the day and live up to your own billing.

Go.

It's not disingenuous to act like you're misquoting me when you are in fact misquoting me. Other than that, I honestly don't know what you're talking about. My "plausible deniability" answer was to a question posed by Mcdad. If you asked the same question, then I would give you the same answer. Victim card?

Your myopia may be leading to confusion.
