Golfballs must have missed the story on the second Putin-Trump meeting. Trump got up from the table and sat next to Putin and they talked for an hour with only a translator present--a violation of diplomatic protocol. Trump (and Putin) also violated diplomatic protocol when no notes were taken at their first (official) meeting. There are important reasons why heads of state don't just meet privately with no other officials present, and the absence of note-taking is also a major no-no.
But then Trump likes flouting rules and laws, does he not? He's got family members--with no government or policy experience of any kind--in key White House positions, which is both not done and stupid and contributes to the gross incompetency of this administration. And Trump is quite determined to profit from his presidency, is he not, in violation of the constitution--an impeachable offense if we had GOP congressmen with integrity. He holds events at his own properties and golfs at his clubs every weekend. This is a major ethics violation. Trump is like a real life Lex Luthor. What's bizarre about him is that he is so unethical by nature--he's been unethical for so long--that even now, as president, with advisors who have no doubt tried to get him to act with even a hint of presidential integrity and human maturity, he can't do it. He's so used to bull$****ting and bullying people in private life, so used to lying, that he can't change even as the stakes are very high. It will bring him down--and then we can all be happy.
