TrumPutinGate

No. 2 terms, still.

Romney, the antithesis of enthusiasm, was not inspiring anyone to vote who doesn't normally vote.

Just wondering if the media poured as much into other scandals as they have the Trump-Putin connection (or lack thereof) I wonder how close that race might have been. I understand Romney was fighting a losing battle from the start, but I wonder if the media was actually doing their job and not ho-humming the entire time if the results might have been closer

Hard to compare. Romney didn't offend the mainstream GOP but bored the extreme, whereas Trump excites the base while the mainstream views him skeptically.

Which is part of the reason there's so many people that think the Trump-Russian investigation is a farce.

It comes across as the media working for the Democrats.

It would've been a little closer. Neither Obama nor Romney supporters would have been swayed. So the question becomes would that coverage have influenced the 30% undecided/moderates?

Let us not forget Trump carried some states which had been blue. Lest we be guilty of revisionism.

But I thought there was no real association between her and the Kremlin. Once a Chekist always a Chekist.

Now remind me again how the Obama administration leaped some hurdles to approve her visa shortly before the Trump Jr meeting. There is collusion going on, but we need to look at Obama and found out to what extent he's committed treason to destroy a fairly elected president.

Trump incorrectly blames Obama administration attorney general for letting Russian lawyer into U.S.

Try and keep up ..this was already reported and posted on the 13th

At the Homeland Security Department, officials said that the Russian lawyer had been admitted to the country to handle a court case.
“Because she was coming here for a court case, there was a specific reason behind it,” spokesman Dave Lapan said.
Getting into the U.S. appears to have been extremely difficult for Veselnitskaya, however.
Prosecutors from the U.S. attorney’s office in the Manhattan repeatedly impeded her entry, according to a person close to Veselnitskaya. In 2015, she publicly complained that the U.S. government had denied her a visa.

In 2015 and 2016, before the Trump meeting, Veselnitskaya claimed in court papers that the U.S. government had harassed her and tried to prevent her from being present to defend her clients

In November 2015, she said she was detained for two hours at Heathrow Airport in Britain on her way to the U.S. Officials “specifically targeted me on the basis of the parole numbers that the United States government had assigned to me,” she said.

She added that she was “unjustifiably subjected to a strip search, for no apparent reason.”
