TrumPutinGate

Shame on Speaker Ryan for not protecting the president!

"I don't think many people are saying Bob Mueller is a biased partisan. He's really, sort of, anything but," Ryan said on the Wisconsin-based radio program "The Jay Weber Show," which the Washington Examiner highlighted.

Ryan pointed to Mueller's resume and his tenure as FBI director under the Republican administration of former President George W. Bush.

"Remember, Bob Mueller is a Republican, who was appointed by a Republican, who served in the Republican administration, who crossed over and stayed on until his term ended," Ryan said.

The Speaker argued that both the federal and congressional probes investigating whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia actually "de-politicizes this stuff."

that's the main issue here. The issue is that we have an American president who is very keen to defend a dictator who has meddled in our democratic process--who refuses to acknowledge the meddling/hacking and who instead wants to impugn the integrity of our own intelligence services in order to curry favor with Putin. He also thinks that it's OK that independent U.S. institutions can be used to cover up his dealings with Russia. He obstructed justice with the firing of Comey and has made other attempts to do so, and he's still doing it. All of this should disturb EVERYBODY, Republicans and Democrats alike

FFS they didn't meddle in the democratic process. By your logic someone holding a sign that said "Hillary is Hitler" is meddling in the democratic process.

I'll explain what meddling in the democratic process would be. Changing votes. Registering fake voters (hmm democrats).. Keeping people from voting (ooh sounds like a DNC tactic!) Fraudulent absentee ballots. Political party convention fraud (oooh Democrats again!)..fake polls used to sway voters...hmm

So if you want to really get angry at people who meddle in the democratic process take a look in the mirror and your voter registration card.

If you are participating in the investigation, Trump fires you or forces you to resign. If you are in a position to stop the investigation, but don't, Trump fires you or forces you to resign.

I don't believe he's trying to curry favor with Putin at all.

His comments about Putin during the election cycle were to contrast Putin leadership with Obama leadership. It was more about trashing Obama than anything.

Likewise, his reluctance on the Russia meddling stuff is about preserving why he won the election. If he says Russia was behind it all and was effective then it is effectively saying he didn't really win the election.

All this "Putin's puppet" stuff is hogwash. Trump protects Trump. I don't condone the actions but I'm also not looking for something that isn't there.

The stuff about firing Comey being obstruction of justice is nonsense.

I think it all boils down to $$$$$$$$$$$$$. That's why seeing his financial statements, tax returns, and investigating his past business transactions is so critical. Putin knows about the shady/illegal deals, and Trump knows that Putin knows. That is Putin's leverage and why he supported Trump.

http://www.cnn.com/2017/05/04/politics/french-election-obama-endorse-macron/index.html

It's unusual for a former US president to make an endorsement in a foreign election
(CNN) Former US President Barack Obama is wading into the closely watched French presidential election to endorse Emmanuel Macron, the centrist politician widely backed by the establishment in his run against far-right leader Marine Le Pen.

Nothing wrong with using his well earned popularity to do what he thinks will make the world a better place. I wish Putin would have just publicly supported trump and purchased some TV add time to voice his endorsement. Russia could have been one of Fox's biggest advertisers.

Lol. One of the worst and most dividing presidents in history making the world a better place. His terrible reputation is well earned, that for sure. I may dehydrate myself through the loss of tears from laughing.

The claim that he saw the email chain, but didn't notice the part about the Russian government with dirt on Clinton is laughably ridiculous. He's lying yet again. The sooner this bunch of lying idiots are out of office, the better.

January 2025 can't come soon enough for you huh?

Putin knows about Trumps shady/illegal deals but the IRS, the SEC and OCC doesn't and never has?
