TrumPutinGate

So after Trump had the one-on-one with Putin and only Putin's interpreter knows what was said, Trump on his way back comes up with the "adoptions" story to try to cover for the meeting between team Trump and Russians in Trump Tower.

Trump and his cronies have lied about Russia since the beginning. They lie--and then they get caught. We now know that Trump's lawyer lied when when he said--twice--that Trump was not involved in the White House response to the revelation of Jr.'s meeting (and Kushner and Manafort) with four Russians. The White House now confirms that Trump orchestrated Jr.s initial response to the meeting news, which was misleading as it claimed the meeting was about Russian adoptions and that was patent bull$hit. So Trump orchestrated a response statement to the meeting news that was a lie--and then his lawyer lied and said that Trump was not involved in the response. Two more lies for the price of one!

And of course Trump has also insisted that he was not aware of the meeting. That, friends, is another lie--and in due course will be exposed as such. Does anyone really believe that Jr. was asked to meet with Russians who claimed to have dirt on Clinton--and then Jr. asked campaign manager Manafort and Kushner to attend--but Trump was unaware? Uh, not possible. We're talking about the three people closest to Trump during the campaign. The notion that they would all discuss--for days--a meeting with Russians involving potential dirt on Clinton and not mention it to Trump himself is ludicrous. He knew--and we'll probably learn that he was actively involved in getting the meeting organized. Just wait.

Mueller is adding former Justice Dept lawyer Greg Andres who specializes in targeting illegal foreign bribery. Andres oversaw the Justice Departments prosecution of Texas financier Robert Allen Stanford, who was convicted in 2012 for operating an $8 billion Ponzi scheme. Andres was a federal prosecutor in Brooklyn for over a decade and served as chief of the criminal division in the U.S. attorney's office there.

Why is it so hard to believe?

I am sure that they talked about their grandchildren too.

Needed an expert to untangle the Clinton Foundation books.

MOSCOW (The Borowitz Report)—In a stunning rebuke of a former close political ally, Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday angrily resigned from Donald Trump’s 2020 reëlection campaign.

The abrupt resignation sent shockwaves through the Trump reëlection organization, for which Putin had served as chairman.

Putin’s sudden departure, which he announced during a joint appearance with the United States Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, appeared to catch the former ExxonMobil C.E.O. off guard.

“Given the recent actions of Donald Trump, I feel that I can no longer effectively serve as his campaign chairman,” Putin told reporters, while Tillerson looked on awkwardly.

In an unusually emotional comment by the Russian President, a visibly bitter Putin added, “I worked very hard on Trump’s 2016 campaign, and, at the end of the day, I have no more to show for it than Chris Christie does.”

At the White House, a source close to Trump said that he had not yet decided who would take Putin’s place in his 2020 campaign, but that it would “probably be Jared.”

Ezra Cohen-Watnick left the National Security Council on Wednesday, the White House said. Cohen-Watnick gave Rep. Devin Nunes, who led the House's Trump-Russia probe, reports supposedly showing Obama administration officials spied on Trump and associates. Nunes went to the White House by himself in March to receive the information, a move that derailed the House intelligence committee's investigation and later saw Nunes recuse himself from leading the Russia probe.

New Chief of Staff wasting no time.

I believe this is McMaster's move. Not Kelly's.

Ezra and McMaster don't see eye to eye on things. He was one of Flynn's hires.

Exclusive: Top FBI officials could testify against Trump

Surprised the MUH Russia Brigade hasn't posted this yet.

According to MUH sources, McCabe (whose wife is a Dem politician and was given hundreds of thousands by DNC) was telling fellow IC cronies, that they should be prepared to testify against Trump in regards to obstruction.

Apparently they think Trump attempted covered up a non-existent crime. Right.

If there was truly nothing wrong, why has Trump been so obsessed with blocking the investigation, misleading the press and the American people, even to some degree putting his own family members in harm's way?

And now he joins the Russian government in criticizing Congress this morning? Just because they criticized him yesterday?

I had to laugh yesterday when the Russians said that Trump signing the bill was a sign that he is weak. I just knew there was no way he could stand for that. sure enough, within 24 hours, he's tweeting blame towards Congress.

Gorka is next. He's on the NSC and can't even get a security clearance.

Also Cohen-Watnick was greatly disliked by CIA and DIA.
