TrumPutinGate

If there was truly nothing wrong, why has Trump been so obsessed with blocking the investigation, misleading the press and the American people, even to some degree putting his own family members in harm's way?

And now he joins the Russian government in criticizing Congress this morning? Just because they criticized him yesterday?

I had to laugh yesterday when the Russians said that Trump signing the bill was a sign that he is weak. I just knew there was no way he could stand for that. sure enough, within 24 hours, he's tweeting blame towards Congress.

I'd like to see proof of these allegations.

Also, it is pretty much agreed upon that writing these sanctions into law is terrible policy by everyone except this worthless Congress. Obama admin was against it. The EU is against it. But I suppose they're all Russian operatives?

Special counsel Robert Mueller has reportedly impaneled a grand jury in Washington as part of the ongoing investigation into Russia's interference in the 2016 election, The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday.

Such a move would signal that the investigation is growing and entering a new phase. The special counsel is looking into Russia's efforts to influence the election and any ties between President Trump's campaign and Moscow.

It's good to note that if a person is subpoenaed to testify before the grand jury that person can not plead the 5th. Refusing to testify before a grand jury is contempt of court. Refusal to do so can result in imprisonment for contempt until you: a.) testify; b.) the court adjourns.

Of 16 staffers hired by Mueller, 8 gave no money to political candidates. The other 8 all gave money to Obama and Clinton, and one of them even worked for the CLINTON FOUNDATION.

This looks more and more like a WITCH HUNT.

"The FBI is reviewing financial records related to the Trump Organization, as well as Trump, his family members, including Donald Trump Jr., and campaign associates. They've combed through the list of shell companies and buyers of Trump-branded real estate properties and scrutinized the roster of tenants at Trump Tower reaching back more than a half-dozen years. They've looked at the backgrounds of Russian business associates connected to Trump surrounding the 2013 Miss Universe pageant."

Yes, anyone who is aware of the investigations into the Clintons are aware. There were some who preferred jail over having to testify in front of a grand jury against the Clintons. Wonder why

The plan to hack the 2016 election was years in the making

lol theyre looking at his tenants? the headline will either be "one Russian found to have rented from Trump" or if they can't find anything "shockingly low level of black tenants at trump tower"

BTW, this is in no way an indication that Mueller found or thinks a crime was even committed. This is an indication of how he intends to conduct this investigation - by putting people through the wringer and see if he can find one and possibly getting something like a perjury charge

"Even before Mueller was appointed, FBI investigators focused on four Trump associates: Paul Manafort, former campaign chairman, Michael Flynn, former national security adviser, Carter Page, cited by Trump as a national security adviser, and Roger Stone, a Trump friend and supporter who openly engaged with hackers calling themselves Guccifer 2.0, which US intelligence says was an online persona created as a cover for Russian intelligence agents."

"The approach to the Manafort and Flynn probes may offer a template for how investigators' focus on possible financial crimes could help gain leverage and cooperation in the investigation.Investigators became more suspicious when they turned up intercepted communications that US intelligence agencies collected among suspected Russian operatives discussing their efforts to work with Manafort, who served as campaign chairman for three months, to coordinate information that could damage Hillary Clinton's election prospects, the US officials say. The suspected operatives relayed what they claimed were conversations with Manafort, encouraging help from the Russians."

The democrat loyal Mueller won't stop until he finds one

Robert Mueller is a Republican who was nominated for the position of FBI Director by George W. Bush on July 5th, 2001. Any attempts to discredit him or his investigation with accusations of political partisanship are unfounded and usually grounded in ignorant statements such as this one.

Good luck to anyone presenting this "case" to a grand jury. I'm imagining the Finding Bigfoot guys trying to convince the National Science Foundation about the existence of skunk apes.

If he could, Trump would just sell them all down the river.

"I had no idea, believe me."

But he's in too deep, now, having tried to benefit from the June 2016 meeting and then having tried to cover that up. Not to mention his efforts to undermine the recent bill. His own finances are going to be interesting on this score, as well.

The Congressional GOP are very shortly going to come to the inescapable conclusion that not only did Trump collude, and not only did he obstruct justice, but if they do not stand up and put an end to this very soon, there will not be enough time to recover and save themselves come next November.

Trump has no friends left over there in the Capitol building, and has only himself to blame for that.

I don't know how people don't get this. Establishment GOPers HATE Trump. That means absolutely nothing
