"Even before Mueller was appointed, FBI investigators focused on four Trump associates: Paul Manafort, former campaign chairman, Michael Flynn, former national security adviser, Carter Page, cited by Trump as a national security adviser, and Roger Stone, a Trump friend and supporter who openly engaged with hackers calling themselves Guccifer 2.0, which US intelligence says was an online persona created as a cover for Russian intelligence agents."

"The approach to the Manafort and Flynn probes may offer a template for how investigators' focus on possible financial crimes could help gain leverage and cooperation in the investigation.Investigators became more suspicious when they turned up intercepted communications that US intelligence agencies collected among suspected Russian operatives discussing their efforts to work with Manafort, who served as campaign chairman for three months, to coordinate information that could damage Hillary Clinton's election prospects, the US officials say. The suspected operatives relayed what they claimed were conversations with Manafort, encouraging help from the Russians."

Always follow the money. That is where the dirt is. Especially with Trump's shady business ties and past actions. The only things more important to Trump than money are stroking his ego via Twitter and Russian hookers peeing.

They've followed the money with HRC, and ran into the Arkancide wall. No one wants to get near it.

lol theyre looking at his tenants? the headline will either be "one Russian found to have rented from Trump" or if they can't find anything "shockingly low level of black tenants at trump tower"

More likely looking at Trump family laundering Russian money through his real estate empire.

You guys are still making light of this but Mueller and his men are seasoned investigators and are now seating a Grand Jury. I think a lot of Trump's pals are a little worried right now.

Of 16 staffers hired by Mueller, 8 gave no money to political candidates. The other 8 all gave money to Obama and Clinton, and one of them even worked for the CLINTON FOUNDATION.

This looks more and more like a WITCH HUNT.

Hannity talking point. The investigators are all corrupt evil men and poor Donny is just an innocent victim.

:eek:lol:

For one thing, Assange couldn't be any more wrong. There are many possibilities to this but it does seem like Mueller's investigation is expanding. That doesn't mean that no collusion with Russia has been found, though. It is clear that the June 9, 2016 meeting at Trump Tower is a focal point of his investigation. That suggests that collusion is still being heavily looked into. This investigation will likely go on for at least another year or more.

Finally, are you really posting an Assange tweet to defend Trump? As if he has some sort of credibility in regard to the American system of justice? Seriously?

Sens. Thom Tillis (R., N.C.) and Chris Coons (D., Del.) introduced legislation Thursday making it harder for Mr. Trump to fire Mueller. Under the legislation, a special counsel could challenge his or her removal, with a three-judge panel ruling within 14 days on whether the firing was justified.

He's a credible person. I believe he knows more about the us justice system than our resident lawyer LG

The Leftists will be - Russia - hugely Disappointed - Russia - again when very little comes out of the - Russia - Witch Hunt, just like they - Russia - were on election night - Russia - when they believed Crooked Hillary would win the presidency.

Yeah! More unconditional legislation.

Unless he were getting a GJ for an indictment, then he's clearly using it to compel people to speak and extract info, meaning he likely doesn't have proof of anything.

Yep. And the idiots on here cheer it on.

What amazes me is we have lawyers, service members and others who are celebrating blatantly unconstitutional power grabs by the political establishment.

It will be interesting to see their comments when the next Dem occupies the WH.

What's unconditional about it? If the President has reason to fire the Special Councel he can. It's more like conditional legislation.

A special council works at the pleasure of the Attorney General who falls under the executive branch. Need anything else?

This isn't even close to the intent of the investigation. They're just looking for crimes. Definition of witch hunt

Yeah, good to know you took Civics 101. But the question was what is "unconditional" about the bill being proposed by Lindsey Graham.

Your quote was "Yeah! More unconditional legislation". What does that mean?
