It's all part of the "any means necessary" approach to election nullification.

To date no one has been able to put together a coherent explanation of what Trump and Russia actually did together - it's just "they colluded".

If Mueller lays it out with supporting evidence then I'll buy it (as I've said since the beginning).

You realize he told Trump 3 times he was not subject to the probe and Trump was frustrated he would not say it publicly right?

The letter will be used to set up a pattern and his thought process. Mueller is setting up a timeline and pattern of behavior.

his thought process is clear - this guy keeps telling me I'm not subject of the probe but he won't tell the public and the press keeps insinuating that I'm a subject in the probe.

I'd be hella pissed too and want to know why.

Yep. And refused to let it be known because the situation might change. And now He is under investigation by the Special Counsel and an FBI and Congressional probe.

And sooooooooo what? Trump wanted Comey to publicly disclose that he wasn't the subject of an investigation. Comey refused.

Of course the situation could have changed but Comey could have easily said Trump is not currently subject to the probe.

When Comey announced the Clinton investigation reopened clearly he knew it could close right back up (as it did). Interestingly when he made those comments plenty of Dem leaders said he should resign or be fired. It's the same dang thing.

I forgot to say that Mueller is also looking for malice of forethought and intent. That draft letter provides some of that.

This would top the Clinton impeachment, actual crimes were committed then.

However, I doubt any impeachment hearings will be held. Muller will end up filing charges against Manafort and or Flynn that are totally unrelated to the election and the left will cheer and celebrate the process.
