TrumPutinGate

I agree that Trump is completely self-interested. He's an ego-maniac. That does not prove collusion. Stating collusion as a fact robs your post of legitimacy. You almost made a valid point, but came up short.
I didn't say that his being egocentric proved collusion... there is evidence of that in many other places. I have posted to this thread, what they are.

Also note how the narrative has shifted to business dealings. Is it illegal to have business dealings in Russia? No. Is it illegal to talk to Russian businessmen over such business dealings? No. I would even argue that having business dealings in Russia is not a big deal. All kinds of businesses have dealings with China despite them being a foreign adversary and hacking our military systems. What makes having business deals with Russia any different from China?

We're not talking about a business having a dealing in a foreign country, we're talking about a presidential candidate having undisclosed dealings in Russia.

And doing business in Russia isn't like doing business in Canada. You don't deal there without the government's approval.

I agree, as of now there is no proof. However, we don't know crap about what the investigation has yielded. It is still wait and see. The Starr Investigation lasted 7 years and Clinton was indicted for lying about an affair with Lewinsky that didn't even take place until several years after the investigation began. The original scope was Whitewater. Don't recall Republicans demanding that the investigation be ended because it was beyond it's original scope.

Don’t be a Luther and attempt a comparison of the Whitewater investigation and this one. There is no comparison.

Does them being undisclosed make it illegal? Was he exchanging military secrets with the Russia government?

Oh...wait. He wanted their approval to build a hotel... A HOTEL!? BLASPHEMY! IMPEACH! THROW HIM IN JAIL! TREASON!

If this is a witch Hunt, Mueller sure has found lots of broomsticks, black pointy hats, and cauldrons with boiling green brew.

Please elaborate.

Again, the Whitewater investigation started with an actual crime, not in search of a crime. By this time of the investigation Starr had secured convictions of a sitting governor and a couple others for crimes pertaining to the matter he was tasked to investigate and Webb Hubble the 3rd ranking person at the state department was awaiting trial.

There is no comparison.

I see it a little differently. Republicans have trotted out this little gem and the grass roots folks are eating up. If you don't agree with us you're anti american... Got news, you are in the minority. More Americans disagree with the Republicans vision of America than agree. Much as Hillary calling Trump supporters deplorables galvanized the Republicans, this strategy by the Republicans labeling democrats as anti american will back fire in 2020.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of anyone accusing someone of being un-American. To me, it's the Republican version of calling someone racist(a favorite tool of the left). I think it an unfair, unfounded statement. I am curious though why you so firmly believe that most Americans disagree with the Republicans version of America? I'm not disagreeing, but I'm assuming you believe most Americans agree with the Democrats version of America? I wouldn't agree with that either. I think most Americans want a happy medium between the two, but given the rancor between the parties, I doubt we'll ever achieve that.

Probably should have said most voters.

And yes, I think that most Americans would like a happy medium. Nobody seems willing to run on that platform.

LOL! Oh, wow... this is some kind of sideways logic at work.
What's wrong with my logic?

There are many, many businesses who have dealings with foreign adversaries right here in the US. But Trump does it and suddenly it becomes a big deal.

Also, as POTUS, has he continued the business dealings?

I'm not defending Trump, I'm just sick of the ******** and a rouge prosecutor.

What's he done that's been "rouge?"

Specifically.

Not what your boy Hannity is speculating, what specific thing can you point to, to support that implication?

Riddle me this, Trumpsters:

If Manafort, Corsi, Cohen, and Gates were all engaged in these shenanigans with the Russians over the emails, and without the knowledge of Trump or his campaign, wouldn't Trump WELCOME the investigation so as to confirm that?

Wouldn't Trump from the getgo have emphasized the disconnect between himself and them?

If Trump was not aware of it, then why go to such lengths to discredit the investigation? If he is so pro-America, he ought to be as concerned as the rest of us that there was Russian manipulation of our election to benefit one side or the other and he ought to endorse getting to the bottom of it.

You can't answer, because the premise is false. Trump and his campaign were very much aware of what was going on with Russian help. They encouraged it. They coordinated with it. They colluded. And they have lied about it frequently, including by Trump himself, under oath.

If there's nothing wrong with it, why were they all denying it during the campaign?
When that is known, then maybe there will be something to look at as far as collusion.

So far this is what it looks like the Democrats are trying to say with regards to this story:

1. Talks for Trump Tower went beyond Jan 2016.
2. ????
3. Collusion.

You've got all of them now.
