Yep, she was. But I have this feeling the DNC is going to slide further left and lose again before they "right" themselves towards the center. Until they can quiet the extreme social justice and militant crowd, they will continue to turn off voters.
I'll happily watch the DNC implode if they nominate someone like Warren the next go around.
The issue was not Clinton being too far left. If anything, her more right-leaning views on things like use of the military and foreign policy were off-putting to the left wing of the party. Cost her their enthusiasm and probably caused many just not to bother showing up.
While after a loss its the extreme that shows up in the early going, the fact is that the moderate power brokers of the Dem party have a much firmer grasp on its party than the GOP establishment has on its extremes.
