What polling data? Which source is it coming from? Is that already public information?
Manafort and Gatesgave Konstantin V. Kilimnik, a known Russian Intelligence operative the Trump campaigns internal polling data. They then told Kilimnik to pass said polling data on to Oleg V. Deripaska who at one time employed Manafort and is also a close associate of Putin’s. He’s is known as Vladimir Putin’s favorite oligarch. This is all public as of yesterday because Manafort’s lawyers don’t know how to properly redact information.
Foreign powers interfering with us election is illegal. If you're in a conspiracy with said foreign power to influence the election and aid that foreign power in it's efforts, that's also illegal.
How does providing data correlate with interfering in the us election?
If I say based on our data we are ahead, here take a look. Is that illegal? Doesn’t seem to be unless acted upon.
No one really knows how detailed the polling data was. Campaigns usually pay a lot for really detailed polling data that allows them to target particular voters. This is not generic CBS/NBC/CNN type polling data. If Manafort gave the Russians this very detailed data it may have allowed the Russians to better target their social media campaigns that aided Trump.
May have is not provable in court. Based on the information already provided via the releases from mueller, the social media campaigns had little to no effect on the election.
They don't have any idea they just like typing words like "Manafort" "Russia" "Trump" blah blah all together
There is no success requirement. If that were the case attempted murder, robbery, rape etc would all be "very legal, very cool" in the words of our president.
I still don't know how they could have changed the election results especially when we have barry telling us our elections can't be hacked and Comey telling us there wasn't any evidence one vote in any swing state was changed due to alleged Russian interferenceI really don’t care either way.
If they acted with Russia to help their cause in the election, lock them up. If not, get off the pot and release the report. The amount of time and money this has taken is ridiculous.
