TrumPutinGate

The people in their 20s working construction can't afford Obamacare. Illegals aren't made to buy it because they are essentially ghosts working under the table.
What income level can't afford any coverage? They can afford it if they choose. If not they need other skills. Isn't that how the GOP rolls?

They're working that way because any immigration policy discussion is being hijacked by orange man and his Maginot line. Maybe if people would support and vote for adults this could get fixed. Instead they claim allegiances to the team and feel like they're winning

I don't know about anybody else, but I like having a guy who is ruthless and shady in control. Just so he's on my side.

If he were also smart (I'd even accept clever), then I'd agree.

I think you're describing putin (shady, ruthless) and clever.

Sure, that's a great option until you're the one who shows up at a hospital and gets turned away.

Preventative healthcare is much lower cost in the long run. But preventative healthcare tends not to occur unless one has health insurance. Thus, if everyone has health insurance, everyone is more healthy and that is less expensive for everyone in the long run.

The million dollar NICU baby is the classic example. If mom had just gone to wellness checks the NICU baby could likely have been prevented. Mom doesn't go to wellness checks if she doesn't have insurance.

If we are forcing people to be responsible then there should be serious consequences for the irresponsible. No pay no service, works in every other service industry.

That's what happens when it's gutted. That's ok, when they don't have any healthcare - you, me and everyone else will be subsidizing thier E.R. visits while they have no skin in the game at all.

Why? Maybe citizenship should be proven before medical care is administered.

king obamacare was all about making 27 year old guys buy insurance to help offset older people's

Shouldn't the answer be an emergency room having the discretionary ability to turn people away who shouldn't be there or can't afford to be there? Isn't that the better option?
Society has already shot that option down. I do not think we will regress, but you never know, Trump's still president.

Again, all sounds great until its you who gets turned away.

I won't be, I can pay.

I take it you believe that heath care is/should be a right, am I correct in this assessment? If I am then do you believe that access to food and shelter (two immensely more important nessecities for life) should be a right?

Yeah "orange man's" immigration policy caused it, before him illegal immigration was not going on. Wow such ignorance
That wasn't the claim at all. I'm saying he could be having a real discussion on the issues but chooses to act like a child trying to get his way. It solves nothing and that's exactly what he wants.

It wouldn’t be regressing to turn people away for not having insurance or the ability to pay. The regression is taxing the responsible to cover for the irresponsible. It’s a completely idiotic concept.

Throw in the fact that he is an habitual liar, amoral, has narcissistic personality disorder, and is an all-around despicable human, and you have yourself a winner.

If you asked most folks what would they rather have, and they had to rank insurance, food, shelter, water, transportation. Insurance comes in last every single time. Hell you would have a good portion of the population say they would rather have free cable or free cell phone service than healthcare

The funny thing about insurance is you’re paying for something “just in case” and if you ever need to use it then it increases or they take it from you.

You're doing that in the pre ACA anyway... Why is this such a hard concept? Who do you think is paying for their bills when they can't afford healthcare and show up to the hospital that can't turn them away?

Who is better equipped to decide who needs the emergency care and who needs and to be counseled on their life choices? You me, lawyers, or government, or the doctors and nurses?

If you say so. At least it was taxed equally before.
