Tubberville new DC @ UGA

I especially liked the Fulmer to UGA as OC rumor. He could coach CMR on exactly how to execute the death spiral so that he gets carried off the field in his last game AND gets $6MM !

Since football is measured in wins and losses, maybe all the Fulmer haters should start a thread entitled Kiffin vs Fulmer; the results. I will help you out. Kiffin 7-5, Fulmer 47-5. The Kid has to go 40-0 to catch up! With a NC to boot. Kiffin is a nice young coach, but he has quite a way to go yet. Next time anyone sees Fulmer they should let him know he should kill himself for being such an abject loser. TFIC. V,B.

Phil took over with tons of talent....left us a few donuts and in really bad shape....he had lost his passion and was getting spanked in recruiting....so he did real well with Majors players I will give him that! What Kiffin did with walk ons in the SEC is unmatched.....so :Bbiteme:

which one of "Major's players" were still on the team when UT won a NC? Was the program in better shape when CPF took over? Absolutely but saying the players weren't recruited by CPF's staff is crazy. Now if you said Garner's players...

Point well taken Bear Bryant. It was time for him to go once he proved he could not beat Urban Meyer after 4 tries, but why the hatred? Being a Fulmerite is hard around here! Won't a big part of Kiffin's rebuilding be with players recruited by CEO and CEG and CMK and CLT....

A thread about a former Auburn Head Coach going to Georgia as a DC has somehow twisted itself around to comparisons between a former Tennessee head coach and the current staff.

Awesomeness.

No hatred here, I really liked The Great Pumpkin, it was sad to see him go but it needed to happen. I, like many others, would have liked to see him be a Bowden or Paterno type who stays here forever and wins every year. The fact was the game moved past him and this program was going to start looking like a Kentucky instead of a once proud power program. I get frustrated with the Fulmer lovers who still come on here and try to make a point why Fulmer was/is better than Kiffin and crew. Get over it, the staff assembled here is top notch.

You got it all wrong...
Gruden and Ted William's frozen head are Co-Defensive Coordinators.

I can only hope this continues to distract Georgia football. It'll be great to beat the hell out of a disoriented, disheartend, and disgruntled team in the Indy bowl.

Gig em Ags. Suck it Jawja.

I've heard he's got a legit 40
If he signs with UGA, though...Janzen will be meeting him across the middle.

I posted this on another thread, but...per a UGA player

3 people the players new were being interviewed were...

1) Tubbs (although it seems as though he did not have much interest according to his comments afterwards)
2) Terry Bowden
3) Tommy West - yes seriously

Ears is most likely holding out for Sherman to hang it up in another 3-5 years. Which would be just fine with me.
