A guy at work said he heard this on an ESPN radio show about 10 minutes ago and the story will break later today.

Apparently the coaching staff was told to pack their offices.

I haven't heard....not surprising though.

Wonder who they will go after now?...Fulmer perhaps?...Brian Kelly?

If it does happen, what are the chances they pull Muschamp away with some serious dough? Patterson or Kelly may be a good fit.

Apparently there was an all day meeting yesterday between Tubbs and the higher ups.

Something is definitely going on.

It'll happen when Bobby Lowder says it will happen. He runs everything at Auburn, and must approve all big decisions.

How funny would it be for Fulmer to get a job in the state he is hated most...Just a thought

Well, it would certainly take the Bama fans' hate of the man to an entirely new level.

To be honest, I don't see Coach Fulmer coaching a major program again. I think the only schools that would offer him a head position are second tier programs like UCF, UTEP, etc.

I dont think he would be safe on the sidelines. That hell hole of a state would implode! Maybe he should take the job! :whistling:

I think Tubby will be there as long as he gets the offense straightened out.

Dan Patrick is talking about it right now. He said all of the Auburn assistants have been ordered to empty their offices. He's speculating that this indicates that Tubberville is out.

I'm happy with Kiffin, but would we have considered Tubberville if he had been fired a month ago?
