Yep. The only way they let him go is if they essentially had to.

My first instinct was to say that Fox might be cooked, but this has happened before to them with Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck as another poster mentioned, and they just kept on cooking.

And, I don't watch any cable news.
People are far better off if they do not watch Fox. It's poison (but a little less so today).

That doesn't make any sense.

Fox News has made it clear that they have an allegiance to the Republican Party. They have zero influence on the left side of the aisle ... and that is how they like it.

100% agree with the second paragraph. I can’t believe any cable news channel can afford to pay an 800M judgment and keep on ticking. It’s like ESPN level commentary where actual journalism is expensive, so there just isn’t enough to report or talk about for 24 hours so they’re all competing on partisan slant and outrage over the same half-dozen stories.

Tucker has been very good For Fox's bottom line. But I've wondered how much he's really helped the Republican Party over the years. He's an extremist and always spoke for and to the fringe and far, far Right. I'm not sure he's ever moved many fence setters.

His emails and texts indicate that he’s a weather vane who just understands what the audience wants. He doesn’t seem to actually believe a lot of the show’s agenda.

Even without tucker fox is better than the commie state run media cnn or msnbc

In general, I don't think Fox News tries to convert independents to the Republican side. It's affirmative political programming. Their goal is to galvanize already existing Republican Party support, not create it.

I hope @BreatheUT and many others on this forum have some family and friends checking in on them today. The creepy fanboy obsession with Tucker was cult-like and pathetic. The good news for them is they all got smarter today - it's addition by subtraction not having to watch Tucker since he has been knowingly lying to them for years. They also get an hour back of their day and I'm here to help, I recommend the Stanley Cup Playoffs which has the best postseason in all of sports.
