A Major CNN Host Appears to Lose His Primetime Show in Sudden, Perplexing Announcement

CNN’s Don Lemon, one of the most biased “journalists” in news, is losing his primetime show, or at least that’s what it sounded like when he made this weird, cryptic announcement Friday night.

Lemon pointedly says “this is the last night that we’ll be ‘CNN Tonight with Don Lemon.'” He then goes on to say he “appreciates all the years,” but that “changes are coming.” It’s vague, but it’s not that vague. It certainly seems like he’s losing his show.

That would make sense, given his ratings are absolutely in the dumpster. As I wrote recently, CNN across the board is down, getting trounced by Fox News and MSNBC. But Lemon’s show is one of the worst (see CNN’s Ratings Enter Smoking Crater Territory). He’s been getting more than doubled up by Greg Gutfeld’s new comedy show, and Laura Ingraham continues to best Lemon by a wide margin in his first hour, as well.

Shortly after the announcement, though, Lemon added the confusion by saying he’s not leaving CNN and that it’s “not what you think.”

The “not what you think” comment is likely a reference to all the responses thinking he was leaving the network completely. Perhaps he’s being sidelined to do more documentaries and make guest appearances on Chris Cuomo’s show?

Just spitballing here, but maybe it's because Joe got serious about the virus, drove it's levels down to its lowest in over a year, and people are out living their lives again and celebrating having a real president.
Thanks Joe for not screwing up Trump’s vaccine deployment plan! And glad to see you finally acknowledging there is no crisis anymore and it’s time to get on with our lives sister! 🤡

Fox News dominates weekly ratings as CNN, Brian Stelter fall to yearly lows

CNN’s ‘Reliable Sources’ had its smallest audience of the year

Fox News Channel was the most-watched cable news network in both total day and primetime viewers for the 14th straight week as scandal-plagued CNN struggles to remain relevant.

CNN’s left-wing media pundit Brian Stelter managed to set a yearly low yet again as viewers continue to ignore "Reliable Sources." Stelter has delivered eight-straight telecasts that failed to draw one million viewers and the May 23 edition hit rock bottom when it averaged only 763,000 viewers for a 2021 low.

Stelter has found it difficult to attract viewers during the Biden era. The liberal pundit claims to "examine the story behind the story" but perhaps he should probe what happened to his audience as he hemorrhages viewers at an alarming rate. Fox News’ "MediaBuzz," which is Stelter’s direct timeslot competition, beat the CNN media show by a whopping 52 percent.

Who cares? What does this prove?
It is odd that some of them obviously consider that a victory for Republicans/conservatives/Trump supporters. The poster known as @Franklin Pierce has been posting ratings updates for years... as long as they show Fox News ahead - and it is always done with the insinuation that it means something positive for the right-wing. This has remained the case even since Trump denounced Fox News in the aftermath of their early Arizona call for Biden on election night.
