Watching the Danish limited series, The Investigation. It’s inspired by real events. The Danes are not towering, impossibly fit, beauteous humans favored by the gods. The lead character wears glasses, has a paunch, a strained relationship with his daughter, and drives everywhere. Danes are cycling crazy? Not seeing it. Nary a bicycle in view…

Edit: He is a good dog owner and shoots skeet with an over/under.

I don't care what show shows, Bicycles ARE huge in Netherlands, maybe not everywhere but in most cities. My bicycle is from there, mainly because it was only place I could get a good bike that would support my big boy weight class. Even the American Clydsdale Mountain bike stuff wasn't really great for my height and weight. Where as AZOR, the company owener directly worked with me and designed a bike to be big boy proof, and considered wall of tires spokes everything. They make bikes you can literally pass down generations. This was bike he started with and upgraded to be 450 lbs 6'5" big boy proof. They actually use this version to carry heavy loads for delivery. Some cities have bike only roads in such abundence it's much faster to send stuff by bike.

More bikes than people in the Netherlands. It is somewhat difficult to walk the streets of Amsterdam because you are accustomed to looking for cars before crossing a street, not bikes. They are everywhere.
And, bikes are everywhere in Denmark. You gotta watch for them there too.

I am 60 pounds lighter now then when i bought the bike. It gets lots of compliments. It's heavy as **** though. This is not one your gonna lightly pick up and run up some stairs like some mtn bikes.. But I can sit upright thanks to the beach cruiser style handles, so it's easy on the back, and there's a video of where they roll over one with a heavy truck, and just bend a few parts back and it still works....it's built like a tank. Has a dynimo and a head light, and even rear light. The reason it has all the mud guards and stuff is in the netherlands people use them to commute in suits etc They build their bikes more like mass commuter vehicles, and they hand them down. I highly recommend them for someone who is older and not worried about being e-sport for mtn trails, but just wants comfort and quality.

Also I HIGHLY recommend "The Land of Bad" (not cause it's accurate, it's not) But it is highly entertaining, and Tennessee Vols make a major appaearance..

It's based on the video games which are excellent, and for the first time in any TV or movie frachise history coming from a video game might be a good thing for the series instead of a kiss of death. As they have actually respected the source material, and the source material has always been hilarious and good action. Also in the post apocolypse woke culture can't hurt you as we fully expect mutants, thus helping to save Amazon from itself.

I’m actually tired of the term, “woke culture.” I didn’t care for the use of “woke,” and I despise the rancid perversion of “woke culture” by those opposed to the “woke” crowd.
