TV, movies, music, Books and whatnot.

Well in the future I will check in to see if the term, or perjorative phrase that erebody round here understands bores you yet. But in the interest of clear communication it's concise, erebody knows who is refered to, it does not include any cursing or break any forum rules and it's absolutely still everywhere in showbiz. Woke Culture....the industry is full of woke culture. One more time. Woke Culture. You are right about one thing it is ugly, and is more then a little responsible for racial hatred, division amongst Americans and the maiming of little kids who will forever have their lives ruined, which I find a might bit uglier then the term "Woke culture". I'm sure many people wish it was no longer used the same way a certain group wishes people would forget who created the KKK, and what the number one ideology has been among tyranical regimes and mass starvation around the world for the past century.

I wasn't trying to talk about the Poly stuff here, just talk about a show. Your entitled to your opinion but you're not entitled to demand I edit mine when you disagree.

In future, I’ll try not to pee in your corn flakes.

Just to be clear (and focusing on what actually matters, which is not in a name): you do understand it was the people who opposed a stronger central government, right?

Unfortunately cornflakes are not on my diet.......I'll try to come up with a term besides "woke" that will be understood here...I dunno it's on the fly but how about "demographically retarded"? It has a nice ring.

In all seriousness...I was just trying to point out that the show isn't cringe like alot of the Amazon shows have been lately with overt politics crammed down our throat..... I really didn't mean to rub the wrong way in this forum..I try and save that for the other place.

...and here I was under the illusion it was because they got their collective butts wooped in a war didn't like it. and tried to create proto-terrorist political action group to try and retain control during reconstruction through intimidation and violence. I'll try and keep that in mind in the future, that they were misunderstood.

But about that Fallout show.....it's really good. And pleasently so far devoid of any heavy politics unlike the rest of everything these days.

I'm a fan of Walton Goggins since Justified. I kinda thought he stole the show, and I was pleasently surprised with the background on that show and his requirement that it not mock southerners. The original character they wrote was more of a southern hick trope taht was supposed to last a few episodes at most. However he was responsible for them changing it to be a character that might be bad but which you had to respect and fear a bit. Most people ended up kinda rooting for him. He also grew up just south of me in north Jawjaw. I am glad to see him play a bad ass again. His character is already stealing the show, he's fantastic at making bad guys you want to root for. He humanizes them, and relates their point of view. They always have a reason to be the way they are.

I'll probably take slack from this post but I'm obsessed with the Hallmark channel series "The Way Home".

It stars Chyler Leigh, Andie MacDowell and Sadie Laflamme-Snow.
It just wrapped up it's 2nd season and it's one of the best mystery/sci-fi shows I've ever seen.

I'd describe it as Gilmore Girls meets Back to the Future meets Outlander.

I’m going to have to figure out where the hell Hallmark channel is on our lineup, because this sounds interesting!

If you were a teenager in the late 90's early 2000's then you'll enjoy the music on the show.
The first two seasons are 10 episodes each. Here are the original trailers for the series.

Ha, my KIDS were teenagers in the late 90's! :D

Thanks for the warning on the music.

Edit for possible exception: does the show ever feature Chumbawamba? Otherwise, no.

I graduated in '99 the same year that features heavily in the show. I'm no expert on music as I listened to country 98% of the time during my school age years.

I'm pretty sure every episode title but one is the name of a song.
