TV, movies, music, Books and whatnot.

My brother has never seen any Jason Bourne Movies because of his hatred of Matt Damon.

He loves him some Forest Gump and Castaway though. Lol.

I've done very well in that category. To be non hypocritical I'd have to stop watching errthangesess. Err Thang. Esss.

I have no issue with their social causes. I just dont want them preaching about how Im not doing enough for the environment right before they get on a private jet to fly to a private yacht...

RANT TLDR

I dont give a F about what you are wearing or who your designer is. There's thousands of girls on SEC campuses that look better in a$40 outfit from Target better than your designer gown.

I dont have a F about your "art". It's not thought provoking or profound. It just puts 99% of people to sleep. I do not want to watch you kiss each others asses for 4 hours straight.

I don't give a F about your politics. You live in Hollywood so live in the real world and I might care.

I dont give a F about your social causes. Leo and Matt, I dont want you lecturing me about the environment when your carbon footprint exceeds small countries.

OK, rant over...
So what was your favorite Oscar winner

An old friend once described the Oscars as a coed circle jerk nobody should want to witness.

My mother grew up in the 30s. She idolized film stars and eventually worked as a professional actress in the 60s. She never came close to an invitation, but she watched the Academy Awards every year. She left this corporeal life awhile back. I was thinking of her when I tuned in.

We used to go to movie theatres often, 10-15 times a year. Then the super hero movies came, along with steaming at home, and finally Covid. Now you can go to the theatre during the day, and there is often less than 10 people watching. Suits me.
My wife wouldn't miss the Oscars. She might record it to watch later if we have something to do.
I sleep through it.

I've never watched any of the awards shows except occasionally the CMA, and I believe the last one I saw had Shania doing the new song Gonna get you good. She was hot back in the day and that was a sexy song. Video was stoopit.

Following a middling reception to Never Go Back—although not for Cruise, whose performances were the perfect level of intensity for the character, just not in terms of look—the franchise pivoted to television, a move that both fans and Child himself have come to embrace.

I liked both movies way better than the series. First season wasnt bad, loved me some Roscoe, but S2 sucked. Don't even care about season 3. I don't like Alan Ritchson at all.

Obviously that's just my unpopular opinion 🤷.

Seeing what appears to be genuine full blown human compassion can be emotional.

that thought came to me last night as I caught up on watching The Pitt.

Pretty good show. Some scenes are a little more graphic and real than I need or enjoy however.

The most disturbing thing about the latest episode of The Pitt was
at the end when the big guy hit the woman if the face. He needs to be effed up by real men, prosecuted, then castrated in prison.

I can't remember if I'd mentioned, we'd bought a tv from her sister, because she needed the $. 65", so I had put iur 58 in the bedroom, that one in the living room, and my old 40" in the bedroom we gave to her other sister. Not bad, only paid $50, but it died last night, not mad, but needed another. I moved the 58 back to the living room, it was too much for the bedroom, and had to use some overtime $ to get a 50" at Walmart earlier. Whole lot of blabbering to get to this, it's an LG, never had one. Decent price, and great reviews for streaming. I really like it, really good picture, got battleship playing on tibi, until Tiffany can sign in to our apps.
