And seeing that he played with KT, it seems certain that it will be Simms. No surprises here.

Oh god I hope not...Thats just a wasted scholly...Simms is probably the worst of the bunch....Building depth is fine but I am not so sure Simms can run a scout team without screwing it up....Damn

Hmmm never been a QB evaluator so I won't even go there.

Is it not a possibility that the coaches wanted to have 2 QB's and missed on everyone but Bray so they just are taking Simms as an insurance policy?

No...probably how stupid we looked running him off before the Army AA game, and then shortly thereafter he comes away with the Co-MVP.

We could've had BOTH MVP's in the game. Boyd will be a damn good QB for the Tigers...just a matter of time.

It may not be Simms. It may be another QB that we're not aware of yet and the staff is keeping everything hushed for now. At least that's what I am hoping for anways.

Could it be possible that there is someone under the radar that we just haven't heard about that is the 2nd QB? It may or may not be Simms.

I was totally NOT expecting Nuke or Janzen last year...nor Teague. Sure would love it if CLK stunned everyone by bringing Cam Newton in. I bet Meyer and Gator fans would crap a brick, as I'm sure they've seen his footage and realize how tough it would be to face him and Bryce Brown in the same backfield. Especially with Charlie Strong gone. That would be Florida's one game to loathe next year...as opposed to their salivating over their supposed beatdown this year

His footage at Blinn made me think this guy is still the 2nd coming of Vince Young, and I think he's a better passer. Honestly, I think we're better off not crowding the QB position this year, unless the guy is certain to be a starter this fall. Newton would be the only legitimate candidate for that, IMHO.

That would be great but, his character issues should be checked. He's had problems. Give this kid one shot or he's done. He is a very good athlete though. I hope your right.

where is the ny times,espn,etc about the head coach of usf chokeing and punching one of his players . this sound like bigger news to me than two girls going to a football game!!!!!!!!!!!

My thought is if it is Simms, they will let Stephens and Bray battle it out for the #1 job, and if Stephens is impressive and wins the job, they'd want to redshirt Bray, thinking that Simms is better then Lamaison and Simms would be the backup

Yeah, everybody knows that the key to winning championships is a 5'11" QB with average arm strength and a bum knee.
