I learned something new today. Never bothered to question it since “The Blind Side”There's not a left or right tackle in the top 30 salaries in the league. Only 3 in the top 50. There are a lot of qbs and pass rushers though. A third of the top 30 are guys who are known for pressuring the qb.
NFL Rankings
That’s the way it’s always been. The best way to tell what stage it’s in is counting the qbs involved. The elite 11 is a competition with the nations best 24 (average)qbs. Only 12 move on to “The Opening”. Those 12 ARE the elite 11 qbs.I thought this was the finals.... huh they changed it since I watched last.
I’m sure that has a lot to do with the fact that it’s been called the elite 11 for 20+ years or however long. I’m sure in the beginning there were only 11 which prompted the name. It’s become such a big name that they’ll never change it no matter how they change the process. That makes sense but call it the dirty dozen or something not elite 11+1
You would also think that because there are 2 qbs per team that it would be a fair competition and alternate series. It’s not. The higher ranked qb gets the start until the coaches decide to make a switch. Could be every series or never. That being said if HB or King finish 5 or below don’t count on either of them getting a fair shot at the title.I've often wondered that myself. But when they play 7v7 qb1 and qb12 are on a team qb2 and qb11, and so on. Pretty sure that's how it works out.
Bailey has the experience edge in the 7v7 category. Not worried about that. You would also think that because there are 2 qbs per team that it would be a fair competition and alternate series.
