You’re happy with what you see on the field?
I completely disagree, Pruitt can’t operate as a head coach. Great DC but use COVID or whatever you want. Every university has dealt with it yet Pruitts regressed.I am happy with the character the entire staff and squad show.... those that don't are shown the door. There is nothing to celebrate about this season, but this six game skid NOR the six game win streak are absolute indicators of where this team can go.... I think there is a lot of talent in most areas and there is hope for a turn around. I think they are confused by their play as units as well.... Next year is the decision year, assuming this covid thing is behind us and revenues are flowing again....
You feel bad for a qb walking into a wide open Qb situation as a freshman... ok
Good post.. fans are emotional and say dumb things sometimesNailed it. I've already mentioned that he committed after seeing all the qb's throw on a couple occasions. We read the boards and social media. Every fan base has the negative folk. It's expected when people are passionate. Just don't go bashing players or hurling unnecessary insults. These kids give their all so you can be proud to wear your college proudly.

I agree with most of your statements but it’s year three and aside from Gray everyone has regressed. Pruitts gotten to redo coordinator hires, there’s is in fighting amongst the coaches. He’s floundering, everyone sees it to the point broadcasters are giving freeze warnings on national tv. A coach never truly gets off the hot seat once they’re on it. Pruitts press conferences are getting worse and he’s becoming more and more a cornered animal that realizes he’s not treading water. Yes, he MIGHT be back next year... but it’s basically UT doing exactly what South Carolina did. They should have fired muschamp last year but instead waited until halfway through this year. I hope somehow Pruitt has an epiphany but I think we are watching a head coach die by a thousand cuts. You are of course free to have your opinion, but it is no more a fact than mine. Yours is a bit absolute and ASSUMES that coach cannot learn from his experiences and that lights can go on. He is responsible for the entire product on the field, staff and players, and he has assembled groups of both that on PAPER should be performing at a higher level. He has put this job in question for sure. But what our admin has to deal with is whether success both near term and long term is more probable moving forward with what he as assembled, or by replacing him, probably most of his staff, and with a diminished class this year added to what is left of this team after those with greatest opportunity and desire to transfer to other programs do so. The admin has a better grasp of the REAL pool of candidates, the competition for that short list, the costs of buy out of this staff and the total acquisition costs of their replacements. Bet they do not need a bunch of malcontents stirring the pot publicly to restate the positon of the program. I will discount anybody's opinion that says money is no object and the only fact we all can know is that there is less of it this year due to covid, so it is a factor. Baring some issue with the program other than how they perform, or some top of the line coach wanting a new home and willing to come for a bargain, he will be here next year... undercutting him is a harmful effort for anybody wanting to see the program advance. We will know by mid-season next year whether the trajectory of the program will include him or not, and the admin won't need a lot of help then either. But we should have a bigger war chest to deal with and prospects can at least visit campus to solidify their decisions based solely on their relationships with the recruiting staff and backfilling transition losses with transfers is more practical.

i dont think irs Chaney, man.Watching SEC Final last, all three of the commentators agreed that TN does not quit in the end of the games. They felt like the problem is TN's offensive scheme is outdated. They indicated it could not keep up with the better teams in the SEC. I agree, and it is boring to watch. We need a new OC!!!
I agree we need a to freshen up the offensive plays. If that means bringing in another OC then so be it. I am tired of constantly changing them tho.Watching SEC Final last, all three of the commentators agreed that TN does not quit in the end of the games. Knox County has ******** contact tracing rules that are strictest in the SEC. Has taken away 50 or 60 practices all season from half the team. Per volquest, all other SEC schools exempt the locker room and football complex from contact tracing and treat it like the football field. Knox County only exempts the field. So, we're operating at a severe disadvantage.I completely disagree, Pruitt can’t operate as a head coach. Great DC but use COVID or whatever you want. Tennessee wasn’t the only one severely impacted. This argument stands for the first few games but it’s December now and we still look like poop.Knox County has ******** contact tracing rules that are strictest in the SEC. No, it's been happening all season. Volquest has been reporting on it. If the vaccine takes away covid in 2021 and the vols have a 8 or 9 win season, then you can directly blame the 2020 season on the Knox County Health Department.Tennessee wasn’t the only one severely impacted. TN hasn't really been impacted by covid positives, it's the Contact Tracing policy that no one else in the SEC had dealt with. No, it's been happening all season. Volquest has been reporting on it. I know what volquest reports. I also know that of all the main stream coverage they’re the most real but they still can’t just fire off with blatant truths. They would lose access and is bad business... I believe AP holds back more than what he truly feels and usually when one does slip a little Hubbs does a decent job of steering the conversation back to safety. No, it's been happening all season. Agreed, Hubbs steers AP back to the middle whenever this topic comes up. Makes me think this is a really big story that is either being ignored or swept under the rug, so as to not piss off the University and local political establishment.I know what volquest reports. I think there’s indecisiveness amongst the board and we the fans will have to see what is the result. The last thing they need is a media group chumming the water with the sharks basically ramming the boat already as far as Pruitts concerned.Agreed, Hubbs steers AP back to the middle whenever this topic comes up.
