Still listening and going to try and get to Knoxville. This is the last week that's possible so we're cramming to make it happen. Both Heup and Golesh have been in daily contact. I say this with no slight NIL is very important for Zach. He has about 7-9 at TCU from private companies as well as apparel. UT has to get that going. No elite kids are buying in w/o NIL deal that are profitable since implementing this. Nolen issues was lack of NIL examples or promises that it would go in the right direction immediately. It's hard to compete with the richest school in the conference that has oil money and alumni that's willing to blow it.
I've got $1k ready to go. Sorry that's the best I can do. Can pay in crypto. DMs open @blakejpalmer. I am in no way affiliated with UT.

well, there it is. is what it is. wild wild west.

Do we not have big time boosters that can help with this? Stick his face on a few Dish Network commercials.
We could, but Charlie Ergen is a useless cheap weirdo who could help us have the biggest NIL deal in America but won’t.

You don’t have to give it away. Dish advertises, don’t they? Use Tennessee players in your ads. Maybe Ergen doesn’t realize how effective that would be in this state.
Their commercials often have clips of Tennessee football or basketball in them but yeah, using specific players instead would be the move I would think.

Not asking to be an a-hole, just genuinely curious to know. What connections do you have that makes you a reliable insider?

I think NCAA has to figure out a registered agent system to help with NIL. I think anyone negotiating NIL deals on behalf of the players should have to be registered as an Agent so that deals are more monitorable and we can regulate the cut they get. Shouldn't have just anyone getting a cut off these players deals.

We made a great step in getting athletes paid, now lets take some additional steps to regulate all the handlers.

Also - if the "agents" are registered you know who to call about getting an NIL deal set up. It wouldn't surprise me if under the current situation, there were multiple people representing the same player to set up NIL deals and it leads to a lot of miscommunications. Also there could be NIL money available, but without clear representation that connection might not get made.
