I can assure you, NBA refs will give a damn less about Joe Wolf, V. 2.0.

I agree. None of them will have their nuts shrink up when they see the tar heel blue. It blows my mind. Also, nba big men will dominate him and love doing it.

First half free throws last night...
UNC: 12/14
Evansville: 0/0

It evened up someeee in the second half. But it was sickening to watch. Not surprising, but sickening.

Starting next season, his "mission" will consist of trying to avoid concussions when Dwight Howard, Chris Bosh, Amare Stoudamare, et al dunk on his head.

His out of control stuff he puts up underneath will be more likely to find the fourth row than the basket in the NBA.

Edited your post to reflect reality. He won't be putting up enough shots during games for them to be noticed.

I just wanna see him get stuffed a few times by the likes of Shaq, etc. Like it was said earlier, this crap with the elbows wont fly in the NBA

If he doesn't learn that before getting there, one of the big guys will let him know pretty quick what they will and won't put up with.

Exactly. I also question what he is going to use for motivation. There is no doubt the kid has tremendous passion for the game....the college game. He loves the school, etc but will that change at the NBA level? IMO, that seems to be what keeps him going

He's got great heart and hustle, gotta give him that.

In the NBA he needs to add a little finesse to his game (not gonna happen, just too awkward) because he sure as hell isn't going to push guys around in the NBA.

So you're jealous of ND because of their fame too? Nice, I hate ND because we had such good games against them when I was just a young lad growing up in these East Tennessee hills. Believe it or not, we had cable back then.

No. I don't like either because both have fans that are annoying as hell. Not to mention a bunch of bandwagoners. I could care less about their fame or history.

I agree with all of you about what is in store for Hansbrough at the next level but I have to know....what does any of this have to do with his ability/production/effectiveness at the level of organized bball that he currently plays on?

Cause we were talking about his future in the NBA. Let a man like Greg Oden play him in college and he is a different player....oh wait, that applies for most anyone in college lol... I think he is a great college player, about it. That being said, let it be known that I hate the TarHeels so Jesus could play for them and I still wouldn't root for them.

It's going to be bad for him at the next level....and I've got a Duke fan for a friend that's going to let me know about it as much as possible...

I guess I just need to get every shot in I can about Hansbrough dominating the Dukies

Seriously...what's differant this year as opposed to last year...or the year before that....or the year before that...Zoubek?

Okay :eek:lol:

nah, Zoubek is horrible. When the ball is down low, the teams swarms to the ball handler. I see UNC-Duke splitting going 1-1

I could see what happened last year possibly happening again...you know...where Duke got incredibly hot behind the arc and just shot UNC out of the gym in Chapel Hill

Thats the thing about Duke...they shoot the 3 so well and play such good D that I think they have as good a chance at knocking off UNC this year as anyone...but if they collapse on Hansbrough then Ellington/Lawson/Green will hit the kick out shot or Thompson will get the easy basket off the pass...

The thing about UNC this year...and I'm trying my best to be objective because I know I'm biased....but they are just so balanced this year...

They can score inside and out, fast break or in the half court, and they're playing hard on both ends of the court this year for a change...

But the biggest thing they've got going for them is how watered down the college game is because of early defections....

You take a team that's as deep, talented, and experienced as they are and put them up against watered down competition you end up with what you've seen so far...a team that will have to have a serious let down to get knocked off anytime soon
