Tyndall to be Charged with Multiple Violations

The indiscretion was a BBQ... Lying about it got Pearl the show cause. What I said earlier. Tyndall lied about much worse.

Apologies. It seems we are on the same page. I was just trying to correct the record, Pearl got a 3 year show cause, not 5 as you suggested. He got it not for the BBQ but because he lied about it and wanted others to do the same on his behalf. Tyndall is on another level.

Don't know where I got the five from...seemed like forever. :). My point is that without the BBQ there is nothing to lie about... Chicken egg thing. :eek:k:

Yet that's the only one you kinda, sorta supplied.

Even if it was more than 1, it was a very small minority. Your post clearly implies there were several posters that claimed that, and that's simply false.

Actually, my implication was that there were probably a few, but not several. Although there may actually have been several. My memory is no longer facile enough to recall the details of all the posts germane to this particular argument and I simply don't have the time to research old posts. Nor do I have the interest at this late date. Instead of being coy about it, why don’t you tell me the exact number since you have implied that you may know?

What's with this prepubescent harangue over semantics anyway? Is it really that important to you to engage in this much back and forth over such a trivial matter?

As far as your implication, yeah sure you meant only a few.

But even if you did, talk about trivial. If you honestly thought only 2-3 "naysayers" said Pearl wouldn't coach again, then why even reference it? You stated it like you were making some big point, but you weren't because the number of people saying Pearl wouldn't coach again is trivial.

It's like saying "Vandy going 3-9 really proved those people saying Vandy would win the SEC last year wrong"; other than about 4 Vandymania posters, who said they'd win the SEC? It's a worthless statement.

So, you don't have a specific answer after all.
I thought as much.
I've made my point; several times over as a matter of fact, so there's nothing to be gained by engaging in superfluous iteration. Fortunately, I'm not afflicted with the mania that drives you to belabor a moot point.
Goodbye and Go Vols!

Not sure how what I posted wasn't specific, but I'm not surprised you really don't address my point.

And you keep posting, so that makes the last part of your post pretty funny.

Still wish you'd share that "point" with the rest of the class. Tyndall cheated, lied about it and won't be around college basketball for at least the next five years (probably longer). Different case than Pearl so I'm not sure why he was brought up.
