That's bluster. They don't have the resources to do that. Look at their stadium and facilities. MTSU has better. Big East teams are not going to get in a bidding war with those from bigger conferences. Even if they could match the salary, they are way behind in every other facet.

That's complete crap. Dooley is the worst coach Tennessee has ever had. He has NO redeeming qualities as a football coach.

Tom Jurich is one of the best ADs in the country. It speaks volumes that he would go to such lengths to keep Strong.
