Congratulations to our great men and women for representing the United States, and the world, so well in the Syria attack.

Does anyone else find this tweet a little weird? Like an RB spiking the ball after a 1st down in the 1st quarter of a tie game?

The Trump administration just ran a play that FINALLY got them positive net yardage... break open the Dom, and declare the game over, Melania!

Yes, but her position has been consistent. With Trump, he's now completely reversed his anti-intervention blather over the years. Had I voted for him on the premise that he was not a globalist, I'd be pissed.

That's interesting. I think it is silly to hold him in contempt for the flip flop when the outcome would be the same had your candidate won.

Further evidence candidates day anything to get elected and once in they are a wild card.

Indeed, but the airfield wasn't even degraded, let alone destroyed.

We'll see how this all plays out, but kind of reminds me of Fort Sumter. Nobody was killed, but it was used politically to escalate the conflict.

WMDs? Hmmm...

470,000 people killed by bullets, bombs, shrapnel, etc.
100 people killed by sarin gas

Which method of killing represents "mass destruction"?

You have no perspective (or evidently any real education) on the whole frickin world's position on chemical warfare as WMD. Rather inane actually. Go read history books.

Despite history and the world view (which he is probably aware of) he has a point....a really good point.

Sounds like the Republican justification is going to be "but he used chemical weapons" which is anything but certain. My question is why is it better to draw and quarter, boil alive in oil, stone, behead, stab, shoot or maim than use chemical weapons? Do chemical weapons rub out your soul and close the gates of heaven in the afterlife? The firebombing of Tokyo killed more people than the atomic bombs. Do the dead care which method was used?

I'm starting to believe the best thing for the Middle East are evil dictators..... they seem to be the only thing that can effectively keep the savages under control.

Two stupid people seeing eye to eye doesn't mean either has a point.

I don't see eye to eye with him at all.

But if you don't think it's a point worth considering, then you are the idiot. It makes no sense not to consider his point in evaluating our actions. Seriously, are you and the 4 guys who liked your post ****ing morons?

If 100 die in a terrible way means we should act, why doesn't 470,000 dying in bad ways mean we should act? Why are our actions not consistent?

What about Orange's "history lesson" makes this a dumb point to consider? Yeah, chemical weapons are bad, but there is no way that 100 dead to chemical weapons is worse than 470,000 dead by any method.

You think the missiles don't cost us until they fired? This is consignment.

Yeah, because missiles were the only cost involved in this operation. I wonder how much we spent on jet fuel? It's like $25k to fly one fighter for an hour.

And that's tomahawks we no longer have for another purpose. It's not like we were playing with house money. Those are useful and we paid for them.
