Do you agree with Trump's decision to strike Syria?

Yeah, because missiles were the only cost involved in this operation. I wonder how much we spent on jet fuel? It's like $25k to fly one fighter for an hour.

And that's tomahawks we no longer have for another purpose. It's not like we were playing with house money. Those are useful and we paid for them.

Did the strike actually destroy any/all of the Syrian aircraft?

If you are arguing cost, you have already lost. Goodness, all this was bought and paid for long ago.

Much more real than some idiotic argument over taxpayer money. You can argue morally, politically, or something here if you disagree with the strike. But taking the wasted taxpayer angle is idotic.

You're right. Missiles and jet fuel are free.

This argument is embarrasing. Show me the headlines bemoaning the expeditures required for this strike. It is literally the dumbest point someone could complain about concerning this decision.

I agree that it's not the most important consideration, but you still need a lesson on money management and budgeting.

I find it important. We are wasting tax payer money because the people who first used chemical weapons had similar weapons used against them. It makes 0 sense.

Can you tell me the percent of federal government's budget that this strike consumed. Please.

Now the few remaining Trump supporters on the right have an interesting take. 60 tomahawks, yet only 20 actually hit anything of significance, but none hit the runway. This is being spun as Trump countering a false flag with a false flag. They intentionally "missed" targets in an effort to simply show force and send a message to people outside the US as well as inside.

If that is true, I'm still not liking that we are using bombings as propaganda tools. Plus, the US was not invited into Syria, no matter if it was a false flag or not.

Complaining about wasted money is only relevant if it meets your arbitrary barrier? If it's less than x percent it doesn't matter?

I asked about this. Can you link or direct me to the source on the 20 things of significance?

Let's have Congress pass a $10 trillion budget, and then everything spent in the coming year will be free.

AllVol123 is 100% correct. The missiles were a sunk cost.. the cost simply didn't factor into the strategic level decision making for this limited strike, nor should it have. Literally the only arguments against this strike have been "Omg but we wasted so much money" and "Here, look at this tweet from Trump in 2013". Quite comical actually.
