it is easy for them to roll threw there weak ass schedule and rest there starters and get valuable playing time for there subs,so there usually not beat up ,when it is
Tournament time
just think what the Lady Vols would be with Izzy,Russell and Jones healthy
would UCONN be good with 3 very important players out for the year ?
that is true, but surely they can pick up stronger out of conference teams to play
Stanford (2x)
Maryland
Penn State
Duke
Cal
Baylor
Rutgers (3x)
Louisville (3x)
Texas A&M
Notre Dame
This is an absolutely insane argument, by the way.
You asked for it.
Stanford
Maryland
Penn State
Duke
Cal
Baylor
Rutgers X 2
Louisville X 2
That's 10 regular season games against top 25
Rutgers
Louisville in the AACT
Texas A&M
Stanford
ND in the NCAAT
15 games against the top 25 ranked teams.
Anything else I can do for you ?
If you still don't believe me
2013
We look bad when we try to make excuses for UConn's success.
This year, UConn played Notre Dame, South Carolina, Duke, Stanford and Depaul...a couple of perennial powerhouses along with the consensus pre-season #2. And after the loss to Stanford, they slaughtered the other 3. Tennessee probably played a weaker OOC, but made up for it with the depth of the SEC.
I don't dispute the lack of competition in the AAC, but that has nothing to do with UConn's ability to thrash top 10 teams by 25 points.
Hoopslover why are you being such an ass....You guys won a game over a beat up team....Get over yourself.

Pat didn't run from the competition. She don't play cheating coaches. That is a problem they are starting to have. A lot of teams, like TENN, don't want to play them and get the ever loving daylights beat out of them. Don't feel bad, they do it to everybody. Duke, SC, ND, Louisville, Rutgers, Maryland, UNC, and a slew of other teams. It must be demoralizing to have your team all psyched up to play against UCONN and go out there and within 12 minutes you are down by 18 points. You pull back within 11 and UCONN goes on one of their runs and you are down 29 at the half. What coach wants to put their players through that. Pat was smart, she ended the series when she knew things were going to get real ugly. Holly is smart as well by not trying to restart it. Wait until Geno is gone first. They lose a game (Stanford) once in a while, 72-1 over the last two seasons. Just like TENN loses to Chat. But the only teams lining up to play UCONN are ones with coaches that see the benefit of playing the best.... not running from them. Maybe TENN will join that group one day.
Or Tenn Chat. Rather lose to a rank Stanford than an unranked team
You got balls, I will give you that, trashing the Lady Vols on the Lady Vol site? That is nerve my friend. I don't recall Pat running but disagreed over one of Geno's recruiting tactics. I think Geno is a great coach but he has a mentality like men basketball recruiting, where any thing is fair. So far it appears that only Baylor's coach is willing to get in the dirt with him. I think that the women's game is getting to the point where the recruiting game has changed a lot from when Pat was King of the hill. The promise of an education has changed to an education and a championship. It is nice to be pure and holy but that, in and of itself, will not impress a lot of top recruits.

It doesn't take nerve or balls for an unknown to hide behind a keyboard and type when anonymity is assured. Now it does take a large dose of plain old trash to come on another fan site and start trash talking (trash talking...for trash).
And, yes, Pat followed the rules and expected others to do the same. When they didn't, she didn't associate with them if at all possible. Class is class and trash is trash. Pat is pure class.
