alright, here are my group stage picks (in the `spoiler` tags). I put them in order of how I think they'll finish, of course with the bold teams being the ones to advance out of the group stage.
not super sure on group C or group F (the group of death)
Group A: Italy, Switzerland, Wales, Turkey
Group B: Belgium, Denmark, Russia, Finland
Group C: Netherlands, Ukraine, Austria, North Macedonia
Group D: England, Croatia, Czech Republic, Scotland
Group E: Spain, Sweden, Poland, Slovakia
Group F: France, Germany, Portugal, Hungary
Group A: Italy, Turkey, Switzerland, Wales
Group B: Belgium, Denmark, Russia, Finland
Group C: Netherlands, Austria, Ukraine, North Macedonia
Group D: England, Czech Republic, Croatia, Scotland
Group E: Poland, Spain, Sweden, Slovakia
Group F: Portugal, France, Germany, Hungary
Final standingsJust noticed this thread. Excited for Euros this year--there are a lot of competitive teams in very, very tough groups this year. Most insane group of death I've ever seen. Got to agree with @bleedorange0037 riding out the 2020 branding is a really interesting strategy.
As for pick-em, think I'll have to go with this:
Group A: Italy, Turkey, Switzerland, Wales
Group B: Belgium, Denmark, Russia, Finland
Group C: Netherlands, Austria, Ukraine North Macedonia
Group D: England, Croatia, Czech Republic, Scotland
Group E: Spain, Poland, Sweden, Slovakia
Group F: Portugal, France, Germany, Hungary
Mainly excited to see if we will have a team rise through out of obscurity to challenge this year a la Greece in '04.
