Didn’t get to watch any of the games today.. busy day at work. Glad to see Denmark won and are moving on. That team deserves it.

Watching some of the highlights of the games today and saw this… what a rocket of a shot that was. Christensen has played a lot better and been a key CB at Chelsea under Tuchel, but never seen him strike a ball like that before. Monster of a strike.

Wales/Denmark should make for a fantastic R16 matchup.

It’s still amazing to me just how much of a difference having full or nearly full stadiums makes. Hopefully the UK can get their act together between now and mid-August so we can have fans back for PL games.

Stuart Armstrong is Pete Rose'ing this match. He failed to defend that last goal, and passed straight to the other team 3 times in first half alone.

Some good games tomorrow. Most excited for that France vs Portugal game. France may have already clinched the round of 16 but the seeding is still all up in the air. Everyone but Hungary has a chance to end up the top seed based on certain results.

I enjoy watching France play, but I don't really like 'em, same thing with Portugal. So, I want Germany to win and Ronaldo out of the Tournament, but if France was to lose, it wouldn't hurt my feelings

Right now, it looks like the Dutch and whoever tops the Group of Death have the easiest roads to the semifinals. As expected, England winning their group turned out to be no prize. Their road now goes through Germany/France/Portugal and then most likely Spain.

Portugal really taking it to France. They’ve been the one consistently attacking. France is a counter attack type team and has had a couple good runs but Portugal is dictating play.

Edit: right as I post that France gets a penalty and ties it up. Fun game so far.
