good game overall. germany looked a lot better than last time out. granted, portugal struggled defending for a decent amount of the game (and had two own goals)

Loved seeing the atmosphere of a full crowd in Budapest this morning. UEFA should move the semis and final to that venue. With the UK government having extended their restrictions beyond the end of the tournament, and England very unlikely to make it to the final, the move makes a ton of sense. EU residents of the involved nations would be free to travel to Budapest, but won’t be allowed into the UK. I get that Wembley is probably the premier venue under normal circumstances, but there’s no point in staging the games there if no more than half capacity is allowed.

With Ro16 secured for Italy, a draw would be sufficient for them to top the group.

Not a good day yet. Italy may be winning but I need the over 2.5 total goals before I win the parlay. I’m hoping for a 2-1 scoreline because Wales needs to keep the goal differential low. Id like to see Wales advance in the 2 spot.
