ACL's are lightning strikes. If you rewound time to before, and he did the exact same thing again there is a pretty high chance nothing would happen. Its probably something he has done hundreds of times, and this time wasn't anything different except for his luck.

Eh, I dunno - I very much agree in a game situation. But in practice, being pumped up; exhilarated?

Sometimes I think we (not you specifically) seem to want young athletes to act like beaten-down cubicle rats. Just shuffle on the field, do your thing, and shuffle back off again.

OTOH, if he did something supremely stupid, like jump off the roof of a bus, then yeah duh, guy, you let down your team!

We definitely should beat UF this year, but until we do, I will be nervous. Also, related to the screenshot, what have UK and Missouri shown that makes people think those games will be Gator losses? Utah is also a winnable game, though likely to be ugly. I could see the Gators getting to 6 wins.

Well UK beat Florida in the swamp last year so I imagine that is why UK is favored this year

I am sure you are right and that is part of the reasoning. But KY lost to Vandy at home last year…they are fully capable of choking away a game to UF.

I am not prepared to predict UF loses to UK and Mizzou.
May happen, but I would put those as toss-ups and UF should win one of them.

Barry Odom was better than Drinkwitz.
Drinkwitz's mouth will get The Tigers everyone's best game with no let-up for the entire 60 minutes.

Yeah it doesn’t make sense to risk putting him out there.

I didn’t realize their stud TE Kuithe might also be out. That dude killed us last year.

In SLC? Salt Lake City is 4200 feet above sea level. That alone will probably take a little toll. And all them gators will be homesick being so far from home.

We haven’t won down there in 20 years and we’ve never seen Joe Milton in an SEC road environment. I’m going to hold off before I get on that idea that we’re going into Gainesville and cruise. We were not a good a road team last season.
