UF player caught using dead girls credit card

Disgusting. As a Gator fan, there is no place for this on our team. I cannot see any reasonable defense to this -- he had to know what he was doing.

I want him off the team and pronto.

Any true fan of their team should. He added more grief to her parents lives at a time when they should be healing after burying their daughter but instead have to fight with a credit company.

Not really. What makes it so awful is the circumstances of the card. A Gator player and this girl are killed in an accident and another player uses her credit card for 6 months? I mean, if he found it on the street and used it, that's fraud and theft and that's bad enough. But under the unique circumstances here, it is just unforgiveable.

He has to go. Period.

I think Meyer has only kicked one or two off the team out of a total of twenty different players getting arrested or so. It's ridiculous when you have to wonder if he will actually kick him off. He should without a doubt and even thinking twice. I'm just not sure that he will.

I would expect some jail time to come out of this. His status on a team is the least of the major issues that are at play here. This is just so sad on so many levels.

According to Meyer's recent suspensions, he should suspend him for the first game and warmups of the TN game.

Assuming there is not some explanation for this that I haven't thought of -- and I cannot possibly imagine one -- then he has to go. If Meyer does not boot him off the team and the school expel him, I'd be stunned.

They won't do it instantaneously, I'm sure. Wait for the case to be dealt with, that sort of thing. But if that kid did this and plays a down for UF, then I'll be very unhappy.

I am almost speechless...Seriously...I have seen players do some stupid things in my life but this one has got to be in the top 3 worse I have ever seen...What kind of human being would do something like that?...If Meyer doesn't kick him off the team and I mean right this very moment then HE needs to be fired...This is unforgiveable...That poor girls parents
