Hat, while it is obviously true that there are many crimes committed by student athletes that involve injuring someone physically and are more significant in that regard, they usually do not have some direct relationship to the team. Here, the guy goes the day after a fellow player and his girlfriend die in an accident and, under the guise of helping out, steals her card and uses it SEVENTY times.

This family will for the rest of their lives have the loss of their daughter made that much worse by realizing that a teammate of the player took advantage of her and them.

I just can't get over the linkage to the football team and the circumstances. Its too close to home.

I agree... good points.

Oh no, I agreed with a Gator.

I agree with the Gator on this one. The linkage to the football team is what makes this crime worse, in my opinion. This lowlife racked up a ton of charges and obviously knew this girl was dead. He started using the dang card the day after she died. That is simply disgusting beyond belief. He should serve some jailtime for this.

It still isn't worse than some of what VIA listed. Maybe the DIU, but certainly not the rape.

Probably going to get flamed for this whole post, but here it goes...

It's not like her credit score mattered anymore HAYOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Too soon?

I feel bad.

I seriously do.
:lolabove:

I just think some on here are reacting as much as they are because it's a Florida player. Nothing justifies it, becuase what he did is pretty screwed up. But if I read this thread without knowing what happened, I'd figure this guy has a seat with his name on it next to Hitler's in hell.
