UF recruiting Woes

So Cowart is full of it or ESPN blatantly reported false info/lied on national TV.

Not hard unless Callahan wouldn't do it...

Callahan stepped away from Bryon foolery months ago. Said he wanted no parts of it.

BC has told three different tales on the fax today.

**** him we got CeCe.

HG, who's still on the board for you guys that hasn't signed yet?

technically, cowart.

a lineman from georgia named buchanon and i think someone else.

there is also a kid who i don't think is deciding today.

Latest comments from Byron indicate he wants to be at Auburn. He makes it clear he never signed a letter for UF and that UF should not get a signed letter from him. I don't know but it seems like the kid has definitely made his mind up and is very clear on his decision.

buchanon just committed.

so, cowart (not holding my breath), mcgriff, and another player (don't remember who) I think are still on the board.

cece's letter of intent is in.

cowart's still isn't in.

I'm just saying this isn't a difficult thing. the drama is there because either (a) he is truly undecided or (b) he is absolutely loving this drama.

those are the only two explanations that make sense

Y'all's class sucks hard.

you can say what you want, but most all Gators are happy today.

Avoided disaster. Signed a ton of offensive lineman. All in all, pretty damn good for a transition class.

Next year, I expect a monster class.

We expect one too.

Farrell says Cowart's text read: "Florida should not get a letter, I never signed theirs, I only signed Auburn's. So I think he might try to fax both and get me in trouble but I never signed Florida's."

"he" refers to his HS coach.

just got mcgriff, too.

probably will have more members of this class that was put together in 6 weeks contribute more on the offensive side of the ball than all of Muschamp's offensive signees combined.

yep his coach is holding his loi hostage lolz doesnt care if he gets fired from one of the top hs football jobs in fla or the country for that matter he wants him to be a gator damn it

well i think we topped butchie's first class lolz

Congrats, but a little perspective is needed, as your school is located in the most talent-rich area of the country. UT is not and was coming off the Dooley/Kiffin fiasco in Butch's first year.

I took up for your class earlier and for McElwain as well as I think both are respectable. However, if you think Butch Jones and UT are going away, you're very sadly mistaken. The man has proven that he has what it takes to reel in the best of the best and I'd put him up against anyone in the country in recruiting ability. Coaching ability will be proven this season.

IF McElwain proves he's got what it takes as the Gators HC this year UF will almost certainly pull in a great class next year. But so will UT. Coach Jones has proven not only last year, but especially this year, that he and his staff are easily some of the best recruiters in the country.
