Honestly, and I hope you guys don't hate on me for this, but if I was a fighter in the house, I would want Chael as my coach.

I could see Chael being a really good coach, better than Jones, his experience alone would be helpful. Jones just doesn't strike me as a guy that would make a good coach. Plus Chael seems like he would be more willing to help a young fighter.

I think Bones would be a good motivator, but he doesn't strike me as a good technical coach. His success as a fighter can largely be attributed to his freakish build and equally freakish athletic ability.

I think 85% of the coaching on this show comes down to the assistants. There have been a few coaches that become distractions, but as long as they don't do that it's a pretty level playing field, IMO.

Liked what I saw...I felt like there were quite a few guys that were really good, and didn't make the house, which is a good sign.

Ummmm Roy Nelson lol
Some assistants are distractions, see JDSs wrestling coach I think. Rashad and Hendo were pretty good coaches IMO Page and Nelson were 2 of the worst.

These 2 guys in the second fight look like they are 40 and 50.

Edit: wow lol

Chael is cracking me up talking about Jones going to pick his teammate first. Mainly cause I think Jones really thinks Chael likes the guy alot. Trying to bait him in to picking him. Lol

Was waiting on the Uriah Hall kid, because of the talk on here. That kid is talented, seems like a good person too. Definitely an early favorite for me. He needs to forget shooting and just strike. IMO Sucks for the kid that he fought, he was a tough kid.

Jones is gonna have his hands full with that kid. He already knows everything. I wish serial killer Tim would have gotten in the house. I bet he would have had interesting stories to tell. Like the time when he fought The Shredder from TMNT.

Unless another big mouth talks his way ahead of Hendricks. Btw I think Hendricks is the biggest challenge to GSP. Jumping guys that lose to title shots, over warranted contenders will eventually cost the UFC. Hendo was the #1 contender, didn't lose, where is he in the contenders list now? Behind Chael and possibly Vitor? It's a joke honestly.

No way Hendo is behind Vitor. That would be a joke. A Jones-Hendo fight would be much more marketable than Jones-Vitor 2. Other than the armbar attempt Vitor got his butt kicked for 3 rounds.
