UK is a dangerous game.

I realize you can't compare one year's team with another and the only thing that counts is the final score but some sobering numbers from last year:

TOTAL YARDS.......UT 261 UK 612

Passing.................UT 316 UK 387

Rushing ................UT 145 UK 225

Furst Downs.........UT 17 UK 35

Turnovers..............UT 1 UK 1

TOP......................UT 13:52 UK 46:08

I’m no mathematician, but those numbers ain’t adding up. Looks like it should be 461 total yards.
I think(hope) we will play much better defensively this year. If we can limit their rushing yards and get them behind in the score early, it will make them one dimensional and it might be a runaway. If we can’t stop the run then it could be a frustrating night.

They haven't went against a team with Tennessee's speed and they will suffer from third degree burns in their secondary
I mean I agree it’s hard for any team to be as solid as we are on offense but to say they aren’t SEC quality is crazy. They are decent and still a good team. We shouldn’t have an issue with them but if we overlook them we will have problems. It’s that simple

Let's ask the question of who..... "who" has KY played that strikes fear ? I'm not impressed and we have played far bigger games. This isn't last years team.

It's okay for us to overlook the Mildcats but you can be sure that Coach Heupel isn't letting the team look past Kensucky.

I think the key to how we do against any good team is the O line.
And I still don’t know exactly what to expect from them.
They struggle to pick up short yardage against
Akron or UTM sometime and then they look great against Bama. Small and Wright both under 4.0 ypr against UTM but was much better against LSU and Bama.
Play like they did against Bama and we have no trouble against UK.
But if it’s a game they have false starts and mistakes and lose the battle of the line it might
Get close.
They made people put out a missing persons report on BJ Ojulari and Will Anderson in consecutive weeks and we ran for 180 on Alabama but you’re worried about our oline because of how they played in a game we led 52-7 at the half.

Good grief. 🙄

I bet we make him cry again!!!!;)

th
He will be crying when Tennessee knocks him out of the game because of Kentucky's lousy offensive line.

I also seen the Pitt game and the end of UF where they couldn’t pick up 1-2 yards to put the game away.
And yeah avg. under 4 yards a carry against a UT Martin is not anything to brag about.

Don't undercut the accomplishments of this football team whatever got them to 7-0 they should keep on doing.

Did you see the LSU game where they grounded and pounded and killed the clock with a 9 minute drive? Teams, groups, and players improve.

We were very vanilla against UTMartin (on offense and defense) and the starters were out in the 2cd quarter after 52-7 lead.

Any stats you want to point at are skewed.

good grief....the drama people try and create...you can't compare teams to what they were weeks ago, they improve over time and we have done that. UK has no chance against us period...it a home game to boot!!! seriously people stop creating drama

They are one of the top teams in the nation on Defense? How is that not SEC quality
Alabama was ranked higher before they played Tennessee. Kentucky gives up 5.04 yards per play vs 5.43 yards per play Tennessees D gives up. Is that a huge difference? The difference in yards allowed overall can be attributed to the fact UT can score fast vs plodding down the field and punting most of the drives. Kentucky has averaged 21.5 points in SEC play.

We gonna stomp a 1666701026504.jpeg in Kentucky. They won't even know what hit them. They'll come to and be like, "mama, mama, I dreamed a bad man was coming for me...why am I in bed? Why are there bandages on my head? Mama, what's wrong with me, what happened? WHERE'S MAMA???"

Why did LSU only score 13 then?
Good Point.
I think Brian Kelly's bad coaching decisions costed them points and gave us points. Their decisions not to punt in the first half costed them in the point differential.
His coaching made LSU a much worse team in that game than they actually are today.

Wow yet his coaching has them at 5-2 without a good qb. You guys should all be banned because honestly you don't know sh1t about this game.
