Actually being different from others is pretty much the exact definition of odd. But I'm not trying to be rude, you may not be odd, but you're an odd poster. Meaning you tend to post odd, off the wall things. It's not a bad thing, but it's probably going to cause discussions like this.

Often times when the word odd gets used and its not in refrence to math problems, numbers, etc its something negative and unlikely it will be interpreted to be something positive when its refrence to a person.

It may not be what you meant doesnt change i still intepret it as a insult.

I wasn't trying to offend but I can't help the way you take it. Let me reword here.... You post odd things frequently.

Normal is one of things thay has some things that are obvious but not to my knowledge is there a legal definition of Normal.

I'm different, so are you, ben, and everyone else.
How dull and boring life would be if we were all exactly the same.

It would be extremely boring and dull. Most artists, and writers are pretty off the wall.

"Normal" people never change the world because they look around and are happy with what they see. Odd people, strange people, weird people.....those who are not normal, they are the people who create change, because they look araound and see the world could be different, could be better. When people tell me I'm not normal, I take it as a compliment. Who the hell wants to be normal?

Church my friend. One of the best compliments i ever received was from a woman I worked with. I was doing something odd as usually. She looks at me and says, "You are so random and strange, I can honestly say I've never met anyone like you in my life" She quickly clarified she meant it in a good way. I told her, "I took it as a compliment."

Not sure who does.
Cultures, how you were raised, etc just about everyone will be percieved as different.

Re Blade Runner:

The director (Ridley Scott) said he wanted to be Deckard to be a replicant, with it being subject to interpretation. However, Rutger Hauer pointed out in his autobiography that Scott didn't know what the hell was going on during filming. He didn't even know why Roy saved Deckard. Scott changed his interpretation later on, ala George Lucas.

The original writer of the novel never intended the Deckard to be a replicant, nor did the screen writer, nor did Harrison Ford think he was. So, basically, no, I don't think Deckard is a replicant.

Still subject to interpretation tho.

Similar thing with American Psycho:

Original novel writer intended the killings to be real, and Bateman to be Bateman. Director wanted to leave it open to interpretation. Novel writer did not like the director's vision, which is why a remake is always being rumored.

What Ellis came out and said this? Bateman is a very unreliable narrator in the novel, and there are several clues that it was all in his head (the guy that said he had dinner with Owen after Bateman told him that Owen was dead). I'm not saying it is not real. I just thought it was open to interpretation in the book, while the movie was more obvious it was in his head.
