Just to be clear, because I think my handle makes people assume I'm much older and also an elitist ******* (so they tend to attack my profession often), I'm only 29. Just turned 29, as a matter of fact. I don't have your experience with the history of the game, but I like to fancy myself as a scholar (a-thank you) of the game. Somewhat.

I think in 2005 when Sean Dockery hit a half court shot to beat VPI. If Rivers had hit that shot in Durham I would have no problem with students rushing the floor. If Marcus Paige hits a buzzer beater last night to beat Duke I have no issue. I thought it was awesome that Auburn stormed the field when they beat Bama this year. I think certain extraordinary events that occur should be celebrated no matter the status of the program. I'm also going to pissed if the students storm the field next October when we beat Florida. Ok if we beat Florida. Not talking smack Lawrence just making a point

I just hope we don't have a Doh moment. Right now I'd say if Chris Collins continues the pattern he's on with Northwestern he's the top candidate. When It's all said and done it will be Ks call who the next coach is.

I've been trying to look it up on YouTube and can't find it, but I'm under the impression that Duke hit a half-court shot (or something similar) against Virginia Tech within the last few years and students stormed the court. Yes, I know VT students stormed the court when they beat Duke, but I'm thinking Duke students did the same with that last second shot in Durham. Either VT or Clemson, I think. Like I said, I can't find it, so I can't necessarily prove it. Just the embers of my imagination.

And unless you mistyped, am I under the impression that you think we shouldn't storm Neyland if we beat Florida this coming season? My god, man, it's been almost a decade since we beat them. And I know they were down this past year, but so are we. Explain yourself, sir!

You lost me there...you're okay with rushing the court in certain circumstances (IU beating UK at the buzzer a couple years ago for example), but you're not okay with UT students rushing the field if the Vols break the 9-game skid against UF?

If UT beats UF handily, sure I agree with you. If UT wins it in 1998 or 2004 fashion, your students will be all over the field.

Yeah, the whole Guth to Doherty transition was an odd moment in UNC history. Guth did very well with Dean's players and Dean's system, but I feel like he didn't necessarily recruit for the future. And recruits knew he wasn't going to be around very long. He didn't exactly leave Matt with much to work with. On the other hand, I've also heard that players simply did not get along with Matt. And the man went from a mid-season number one team to an 8 win UNC team, which is the worst in our history. Unacceptable. It was just a really odd transition. At least Roy has stirred the ship, at least for now. I just hope we can choose a coach that will continue things.

And the situation at Duke will be absolutely fascinating. Of course I'm hoping you guys will stumble and bumble at least a few years like we did. But at the end of the day, I hope you find a good coach. It's just like UT and Bama. A rivalry just isn't worth it if your opponent isn't worth a damn. So, as odd as it sounds, I want us all to do well long-term.

This UNC team is just unreal. I don't know what to make of them. And the throwbacks look very good. Unlike the ones for Syracuse.

Despite the thrashing you guys gave us in the game, I just love that Strickland dunk over Singler. Which was disallowed. Just another example of how you guys flop all over the place. You all are like fish out of water. Just flop all over. I'm ready for K to leave. He's a damn good coach, but I'm tired of him bastardizing this game.

If Meeks was more athletic, I honestly believe he might be the top pick in the draft. At least a top 5 pick. I've not seen a freshman so skilled before. Just a very good player.

That wasn't a foul on Thomas. My god, ACC officiating has been so bad this year! And no, it has not favored UNC. Just watch the first half to dispel that belief.

If this team just shoots average free throws, they are a hard bargain. With PJ, this team would have been hell on wheels. Top 5 or 10 easily.

Haha no chance. One of my friends did that a couple years ago and we made his life hell on Facebook and Twitter. Posting pictures of Benedict Arnold, the Rosenbergs , Robert Hannsen etc. I would never switch and that incentive makes it even crazier.
