And I look forward to the return trip to your precious Rupp dump of a building next year. UNC should be really good. Maybe your flavor of the month freshman can hang with us.

I get celebrating. I just think UNC isn't that far removed from being very, very good. I was just surprised, congrats on a very good gritty win. I'm looking forward to the game in Cameron. Should be a good one and the normal warm reception for you all.

I was surprised they rushed the court as well. You'd probably agree that even ranked #5, this isn't a vintage Duke team. But McDonald is the only scholarship senior on the roster. He and McAdoo are the only ones that have any ties to a team that was a national title contender late into March. That was the best home win probably any of those players or students have experienced.

UNC is the first team to defeat the preseason 1-4 since 1961-62 (and that was just the first year that poll was placed in effect, so this may be a first period). And UNC will get its shot at 5 with Kansas. I have no doubt that the NCAA will place us against them (once again) in the 2nd round in St. Louis. It's a joke at this point.

Who cares if they rushed the court? Act like you've been there before? Blah blah blah It's college students having fun. Students only get to see 1 or 2 duke-UNC games while they are in school. I've never understood the disdain toward rushing the court. People need to realize it's not the same fans rushing the court each time. Students are only students for a few years.

And let's not forget duke (then no. 2 ranked) attempting to storm the court after beating unranked UNC at home last year.

Congrats volprof, nice win.

A program as proud as UNC shouldn't rush the court after beating anyone...ditto for Indiana, Kansas, UK or any of the blue bloods.
