UNC basketball

I don't have any real specifics at all. I probably should delete that post. Not trying to mess with you .

Yeah, I know. I'd be very surprised if worse crap hit the fan than what already has at UNC, especially considering that we seemed to have cleaned house internally. Perhaps that's what got some rumor mills working, the fact that it was us, maybe in an attempt to cover our rear ends. Most likely this is it, but who knows. No doubt the last two or three years have completely sullied an otherwise sterling reputation for UNC sports. I'm embarrassed, as most UNC fans are. Time to move on, and I think this is the beginning.

And the rest of the nation can rest assured that we didn't really gain much from it, unlike some other programs that gained handsomely. I won't mention them, but you can use your imagination.

He should've been smart and not be on Holloway St. On a Friday night in Durham doing something illegal. There is nothing good going on there most hours, but especially at that particular time of day.

Edit: I hate being this guy... But supposively there is something big about to drop. Meaning PJ is the tip of the iceberg. This is what I was told by a Duke guy, so take it how you may. He's not the kind of guy to just say something bad about UNC just for the helluva it. I honestly hope he is wrong because this is getting ridiculous and I don't want anything to happen to the bball program. The joke of a football program on the hand...

I think UNC has distanced itself by not allowing PJ back on the team. A lot stuff floating around here regarding the school but they have cleaned up so much the NCAA seems to be taking notice. The only concern I have about the issue is how many other players are going to be pulled in for hanging out with Fats. And by doing so was anything illegal about it. Fats is no where near Shapiro status.

I think the real concern is if R Williams will be back. I for one am not a fan of his but a lot of people around the program seem to be concerned he can no longer take the program and signs of him losing control of his players continue to surface. First Hairston and McDonald with concerns of maybe other players being named, and then Graves just getting arrested for pot at his rental home who he rents from R Williams. If UNC doe snot finish well I think you might here RW name on the hot seat. JMO

I don't think daggum Roy is going anywhere. Huckleberry is here to stay. He's a good guy I think, but damn his pressers kill me.

Dean Smith's health situation is sad, but in this case it may actually be a blessing. If he knew what has been going on lately, not just with basketball but throughout the athletic department, he would be crushed.

I'm sure you couldn't wait for that one.. When Marshall Plumlee is needed to contribute there isn't much hope..

Yeah, I don't really know what to make of Duke's team right now. Unfortunately Plumlee is going to have to get minutes, he's just really bad. He doesn't have an ounce of the athletic ability that his brothers do. If he can contribute a quarter of what Zoubek did in 2010 then I think Duke is a very good team, until that happens I don't see Duke's ceiling being very high. Of course I don't think Jabari is going to have many games like he did versus Notre Dame.

UNC is even more of a question mark. Their losses are just mind blowing.

Inconsistent offense man.. Paired with bad defense isn't a good combo.

They can't go out an outscore teams like Duke can

Smh. Team was trying to hold on until pj got back.. He isn't and they just can't score. Not very good

We're NIT bound. May very well beat Syracuse this weekend, but there's only so many top 10 teams you can face. I don't really know what to think, but I do believe that things will get much better for this team after this year.

I was hoping to be solid this year, and be very good the next 2-3 years. This year looks bleak

I think UNC should be solid come the next year or two. This year just seems like a wash. It's made all the more disappointing due to the fact that we have the most impressive wins of any team in the country.

A mystery wrapped in an enigma

The more I watch, the more I think they're just a mystery wrapped in a sack of crap. Somehow managed to play way above themselves earlier in the season; they've done nothing to prove that they'll actually sustain a decent season. NIT.

Still early. They could turn it around, get either an at-large or win the ACC tourney. The way you've been playing you can mark Syracuse and Duke down as guaranteed wins, just watch out for Georgia Tech.

You might be right, but there are still a lot of games to play. I think it's very real that Roy could lose this team and very soon. It's likely you lose this weekend, then have 4 very winnable games this month. It's crucial to win 3 of those 4, if not all, for Roy to not lose the team or I think the season will unravel. It's the weirdest team I have ever watched.

This team will give 2009-10 a run for its money. Luckily, we've already won 10 games, so we don't have to worry anymore about giving 2001-02 a run for its money. This installment of the Heels has to be the worst shooting edition I've ever seen. Unreal how poorly they shoot from beyond.
