Take a look at the number fonts that Syracuse, Arkansas and Baylor have in football. It's kind of a mix of those.
Unfortunately.
I've always been a big orange-and-white only guy, but our baseball team has worn black hats (and socks) for most of their history.
I would wager that they will still have a black hat with a throwback-style uniform that most Nike teams have.
I liked Raleigh's uniforms. I liked the all white with orange Vols at home, and the gray with orange Tennessee for the road. Very traditional and clean look. And the hats he brought.
I don't know what you want me to elaborate on. I really liked those mock-ups. I wish we were going in that direction.
The uniforms won't be super-modern, but there will elements that people will hate. Notice every school that gets a Nike redesign gets an annoying, hard-to-read number font.
I just hope that the VOLS on the uniform is neat and sophisticated lookin instead of that gauldy cartoon lookin crap we've had for the past couple of years.

I think you're misremembering the Raleigh era. The uniforms we wore under him were anything but traditional:
We have a much more traditional look now, other than the throwback Sunday uniform:
His first designs were what I liked. I hated the last ones, especially the black ones. Early on he had white uniforms with white/orange hat and the road uniforms were gray with gray/orange hat. I could take or leave the orange on the side under the arms, but the rest looked good.

The ones in this video are what I was talking about.
Gotcha. The solid gray is still worn today, the design hasn't changed at all since Delmonico was here since the uniforms are never seen at home.
Other than the white/orange hat, the uniforms from his first season had been ordered before he arrived. He went with the alternate designs with the side panels after his first season.

That uniform has never been worn on the field. The actual on-field version does not have the orange accents.
The script "Vols" on the jersey has been the same since the Delmonico era.
I wasn't actually talkin about that shirt, it was the only 1 I could find with that lettering that looks so hideous....it needs to be gone.
