I hope and pray that our unis are orange and white. And our helmet is never anything but white with an orange power T and the thick orange stripe.

As far as the new unis go, please keep the present Butch Jones rendition of orange jerseys and white pants with the orange stripes down the legs. For the away games, use white jerseys and white pants with orange stripes. Never bring back the hideous black outline on the numbers. Never use all orange for home games, it's too gaudy and looks better with the white pants. On the other hand, burn the smokey grays, they are not traditional, they are not the school's colors in spite of what some say. They didn't exist prior to the Butch Jones era but are contrived to get ignorant Vol fans to believe they are really a part of school colors. No one has the right to change school colors without putting it to a major vote. As for the Kiffin blacks, or any other black accents, can them forever !

Depends on your definition of 'designers'. I tend to believe that simply being able to use a computer to create a a design is not the same thing as being a designer. That distinction might seem nuanced, but it is like the difference in playing Madden on XBOX and actually coaching a football team.

I am for getting rid of the white jerseys and wearing Orange at home and on the road like we did from 1925 to 1970. I do not care if they want to give us a 15 yard penalty or take a time out. Stupid rule to make one team wear white in this day with HD TV.

So what exactly do yo like about Tennessee football uni's? I like the smokey grey, I liked the black outlined numbers, I like orange on orange for home games and several other combos. As long as were doin good on the field I really don't care what they wear. That's up to the coaches, players and AD.....

Unfortunately.

I've always been a big orange-and-white only guy, but our baseball team has worn black hats (and socks) for most of their history.

I would wager that they will still have a black hat with a throwback-style uniform that most Nike teams have.

I don't know what you want me to elaborate on. I really liked those mock-ups. I wish we were going in that direction.

The uniforms won't be super-modern, but there will elements that people will hate. Notice every school that gets a Nike redesign gets an annoying, hard-to-read number font.

Mizzou, UF, and Bama's all look normal to me. I didn't really notice a problem with the #'s. I'm excited to see what changes are made, I just hope it's nothing drastic. I am hoping for a throwback alternate. The 30's uni with tan pants is so tough.

Take a look at the number fonts that Syracuse, Arkansas and Baylor have in football. It's kind of a mix of those.
