I get it, trust me. Just the "I don't want this, I don't want that..."

Times are changing, and so is the fashion with it. I'm no insider, but I'm willing to bet traditionalists are going to end up hating the switch to Nike. Yes, I'm a little younger than most posters on here, and I agree, tradition is a big deal, but I just can't envision the uniforms staying to just plain ole orange and white. There will probably be a checkerboard collar, or something that a lot of posters find tacky on the uniforms in the future. It's just something we have to accept.

No, I do not want to be Oregon of the east. Just, no. That would be horrific.

The uniform designs have been finalized and ordered for all sports. Nothing groundbreaking. All sports will use the same letter/number font that Nike has developed.

Will the color be changing at all? I know recently Nike has had issues with a few teams, most notably the Philadelphia Eagles, getting the color right, and uniforms produced on time. Any danger they change the color of orange we have?

There are 2 things guaranteed in life..1) a casket 2) change

Eventually the jerseys will change and we will be winning so it won't matter.

All you need is the Stormtrooper with an alternate of the Smokey Gray with a different helmet to switch up with...

Other than the Nike jersey offering a better fit they need to ignore the foolish clamor for un needed change. Some schools need to put bells, glitter, neonn bedazzles and chrome on their unis to compensate for a total lack of tradition. The TENNESSEE VOLUNTEERS do not fall in that category.

It's Nike, get ready to be disappointed. We are going to wear an alt at least once a year from what I understand. Some of them have to be bad.

I can't believe in all the Years of Tennessee football we've never had a helmet that switched the orange and white. I think an orange helmet with white Power T would be awesome with the creme sickle uni's.

Because it wouldn't look as good. I've seen enough mock ups of that design online to know that white helmet with orange T simply looks better.

My :twocents: here, I like the fact that when I turn on a TV or walk into a sports bar to watch a game. I can tell at a glance we are playing. It has been that way most of my life!

How many other programs can one tell at a glance who is playing? Only 4 or 5 come to mind right now.

I could go on but I'll stop here.
