Uniform/Helmet/Shoe design thread (merged)

That's the best mock-up I've seen to date.

I'm okay with a subtle gray outlining of the numbers on both the home and away jerseys. Orange and white doesn't have the greatest contrast, so putting the outline on the numbers makes them "pop" more without compromising the integrity of our uniform's traditional look.

UT had a grey outline on the jerseys back in '87. I thought they looked great.

I would prefer a chrome helmet IF there are any alternates that black one is ugly

The only colors that will be used by Nike on team and fan apparel will be orange, white, smokey gray and anthracite, which is a darker gray.

Glad they are keeping the Smokey Gray! I don't know if anyone made the comment but I really liked the look of the Smokey Gray tops and white pants from Saturday, looked very nice.

Paging Deerpark.

Still hearing the same thing about the numbers? Will the font be as radical a departure from normalcy as it sounds?

Or, to keep traditional colors, then this. It's just reversed from normal color scheme.

The number font will probably not be popular, but the "final" version isn't as bad as the initial concept. Still, Arakansas and Baylor are good comparisons.

BV,

I recall a light blue that is very similar to what's on the LV logo now, but not grey.

Grey would look better than black or the light blue. But, I prefer the way the jerseys are right now. Butch got that right before his first season, I hope they don't change it much either.

I know that looks grey in the photos, but I specially recall it being light blue. I guess it doesn't really matter, but I'm sure Jeff Francis or Reggie Cobb could answer our questions since they wore those Jerserys.

It was gray. It was added to the football jerseys the same season men's basketball changed from light blue to gray.

I am ok with the arkansas font. Not a fan of the baylor. What about the sizes of the numbers on the front and back. One thing I noticed about Arkansas front numbers is how tiny they look. Not a fan of that.
