Uniform/Helmet/Shoe design thread (merged)

Half? Lol... You mean upset .00001%.... Would be quite the opposite and it's gonna happen my friend.

He was more right than you.

Over 1/3 of the fan base hates the gray or black jerseys, and even more would hate alternative helmets, and it just happens that the 1/3 is all over 45 and they give over 75% of the donations to the Tennessee Fund.`So for a few more years who do you think has Hart's ear?

No offense but I don't think anybody arguing this issue has valid opinion poll percentages...buncha people splatting numbers against the wall and pretending they're real. Ok go ahead and take offense now. :yu:

It can always be better. It wasn't a #1 recruiting class. I also want good coaching. Why can't we have both?

Teams that use all the alternate crap don't have traditions.

Bama doesn't wear junk, Michigan doesn't wear junk, Ohio state doesn't wear junk, Notre Dame does wear junk. Get the picture?

Tennessee has tradition, we don't need to wear junk to attract recruits.

Both Ohio State and Michigan have had alternates. Michigans could have easily been described as junk as well.

There is nothing wrong with alternates, as long as it is done with class and embraces tradition. Some of the uniforms wore by Oregon in the past were ridiculous and in very poor taste imo.
