Why do people like the orange pants so much? I don't get it. Our Stormtroopers are WAY better than orange pants on the road. The Stormtroopers are some of the cleanest looking uniforms in all of college football.

First UT game I ever saw in person was UT/Alabama in 1966. They wore Crimson jerseys and we wore Orange. I would love to see that again. In about 95% of games there is no real reason for one team to wear white.

I would be all for this and have been saying this to friends for years. The orange and white do not look similar at all. Watching both teams were the solid color top while facing off would be quite a sight. Sadly, I doubt we see something like that ever again.

Florida and Georgia did recently, maybe even last year. Our game in Bristol was supposed to be home vs home jerseys, but VPI went rogue.

Not sure how much truth there is to it but for the last two days I've seen it floating around twitter in the mouths of a couple of the more prominent UT writers/talk show guys that there's been an alternate uniform that's basically a done deal and all finished AND was supposed to be announced today but I haven't seen anything. Anyone else seen/heard anything on this? On a side note, if this is indeed true what would YOU personally like to see happen in an alternate uni?

It's Fulmer and Pruitt, alternate probably means they break tradition and put the Nike logo towards the other shoulder.

It's Fulmer and Pruitt, alternate probably means they break tradition and put the Nike logo towards the other shoulder.

Utah and BYU have been doing it too, and BYU even uses "throwback" royal blue uniforms.
